Red Barn — Restaurant in Coldwater

Wonderful place. It's a destination restaurant. Staff could not have been friendlier and welcoming. Food was fabulous with maybe a few misses that did not detract overall from the meal. There were four of us and food was taken home due to large portions. We shared a small basket of boneless wings, perfection with barbecue sauce. Collectively, our plates included fried pork cops, chicken livers, chicken tenders, all bursting with flavor. I had the chicken livers lightly covered with onions and gravy. IF YOU LEAVE HUNGRY THATS YOUR FAULT!!! THIS IS A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH...DON'T LET OUTSIDE FOOL YOU...INSIDE IS SO WARMING, COUNTRY DECORATED AND THE BEST STAFF YOU COULD ASK FOR. THEY ARE ALWAYS BUSY BUT YOU NEVER FEEL RUSHED OR ANYTHING LESS THAN THEIR ONLY CUSTOMER. This is a breakfast location. Apparently they serve a buffet but our hostess/waitress did not explain that. So we sat wondering where menus are and looking around for someone to take our order. In other words there was no welcome/ is this your first time here type of welcome from the girl that sat us. When I asked for creamer for my coffee I was shown the powdered creamer on the table. In my life I don’t recall a breakfast venue having only powdered creamer. I tried to make the coffee work but it was a fail. If you like good coffee keep trucking to...
