Coleman BBQ by Bella's — Restaurant in Coleman

Chicken was very yummy and nicely smoked flavored which I really like. Brisket was nice smoke flavored but a little dry and on the less tender side. when I ordered I asked what the prices were and they gave me a menu. Then when I started to actually order, they said, no we don't have that, no we don't have that, no we don't have that. And I said so what do you have? I ordered brisket by the pound and they said they had chicken and that I could order by the pound though it wasn't on the menu nor with some of the other things that they said they had but I ordered. Then I got the bill and it was not accurate , and I asked them about it, and they did fix it after they had to think about it. They must've been out of to go type products, because the guy in front of me wanted to drink to go and they only had sweet tea and nothing else and they didn't have regular type drink cups to go in a drink holder in a vehicle. So not sure what the problem is, hopefully they can...

I drive all over Texas for work purposes and I always enjoy trying restaurants in small towns along the way. I eat a lot bbq and my favorite tends to be smoked ham. However the gentleman that greeted me informed me that they only had brisket although he used the words "a fine brisket." Let me tell you folks...the man was humble and that was an understatement. That brisket was fantastic and one of the best chopped sandwiches Ive had in a long time. My only regret is that I took my order on the road to speed up my trip home. Now i wish i would have eaten there so i could have ordered another sandwich! I will definitely be back the next time Im driving...

Very good ribs and sausage. Coleslaw and potato salad were both excellent as well. Found this little place via Google search as we were traveling through and glad we decided to check it out. Friendly people and good service. Forgot to serve the pickles and onions with our meat plates, but that isn't a big deal considering how good the food was. Would definitely visit again if we are in the area...
