El Vaquero — Restaurant in Coleman

Authentic Mexican cuisine and super delicious. My husband had pork tamales, he said they were the best he’s ever had. He also tried the lengua (beef tongue) tacos, Mexican style and they were delicious as well. I had the pork empanadas. 2 were enough to fill me up and at $3 each it was a huge bargain! Service was a little slow but they were busy. All in all we will be back soon. Next visit I’ll try to remember pictures.

Our waitress did not speak English but the menus are in English and all we did was point to what we wanted. Very friendly and inviting place. If you like Mexican food I highly recommend going out of your way to try...

Ok...I'll start with our guacamole...while pleasant tasting, it was more like pico de gallo with some avocado added...lots of filler. I ordered the steak burrito and ended up with a chicken burrito, which i didn't complain about and ended up being VERY good. My wife ordered chicken fajitas that were OK but lacked flavor. Service was very good besides the burrito mix up. The atmosphere was generic but VERY clean....
