Bumpers Pub — Restaurant in Colfax

My family stopped into Bumpers today. We where looking for great food, which we had in the past times we visited. Unfortunately, The food was not up to Bumpers standards today. My food was greasy, my sons food, his girl friends food and my wife’s food was cool. It appeared to be cooked and left standing, while the other food was being prepared to be served at the same time, which is normal. I believe the food was cooked out of order. But that is my opinion. The best part of our time in bumpers was the waiter who waited on us. He’s was great, but seemed to be on the run a lot. Not only waiting on customers but also running the bar. Not sure what else he was doing. Sorry to say that it may be sometime before I go back. I do not know what happened or why today, but I had never had this...

Above and beyond!! Our son decided to invite a date to the homecoming dance, very last minute… along with getting a corsage and matching clothes; we also needed dinner reservations- all last minute! I called bumpers and they said they’d definitely get us taken care of- and they kept their word! The day was hectic leading up to dinner, trying to make sure he and his date had the best and most memorable 1st homecoming dance. We came in, sat immediately, drinks came promptly and food shortly to follow. The atmosphere is always inviting! I’m extremely thankful that our small town kids have a place close to home to come build their memories!! Thank you Bumpers for all you do in our community, and for our growing families!...

Nicely updated and courteous staff. Lots of TVs so would be great to catch up with friends to watch the game. Free WiFi is key as signal is not good. We got cheese curds and they were hot and just as you would expect bar food to be. Will have to come back for an entree. Went here with my mom on a quiet Friday afternoon to see changes. She practiced here in high school when she was on the bowling team. She loved reminiscing and looking at the little historical displays...
