We came for lunch and it was delightful. I grew up eating a lot of Thai food because that's where my mom is from, and the food here absolutely nails it. I've found another comfort food restaurant! We also had some of their sushi and it was so good. The salmon was excellent, and the overall presentation was appealing. Their chicken katsu and karage were both great, with the katsu being the best I've ever had (the karage was up there, too). The gyoza was delicious, and the korokke was excellent. The pumpkin curry...I don't even know what to say other than wow. I'm honestly having a hard time thinking of anything I was unhappy with, which is rare for me because I'm really picky about this sort of food. It's that good and reminds me of growing up. If you're heading through Mesa, maybe planning a hiking or camping trip on the Grand Mesa, and you love Thai or Japanese food, or you've never had it and were always curious, this is a must stop restaurant. The staff is friendly, food is exquisite, and the prices are very reasonable. This is a high quality restaurant.

We LOVE Mesa Japanese Thai! As residents of Mesa, this restaurant is a blessing. The food is incredible and the staff are so friendly and really care about their patrons. Our favorites are: spring rolls, spicy ramen, Panang curry, pad see ewe, pad Thai, red curry, and Thai tea boba! We eat here at least once or twice a week. Highly recommend and we LOVE this place!

Delicious, fast, courteous! Surprising for a small town. Easy access right in the way back from the Mesa after hard day hiking/biking! Highly recommend the red curry pumpkin, pad see ew and unagi rolls

Mesa Japanese Thai is an absolute gem! After a long day on the mountain, this spot delivered the perfect combination of warmth, flavor, and incredible service. From Powderhorn to Grand Junction, you won’t find better food or kinder people.

We tried a little bit of everything—boba, curry, sushi, and appetizers—and every single bite was flawless. The boba was refreshing, the curry was rich and comforting, the sushi was fresh and beautifully presented, and the appetizers hit the spot. You can tell they put care into every dish they serve.

What really stood out was their service—they made us feel so welcome and cared for. If you’re looking for a meal that feels like a hug after a long day on the mountain, Mesa Japanese Thai is it. We’ll...

All I can say is WOW!!!!! We started out with the sushi sampler and the fresh spring rolls. The spring rolls with the peanut sauce were to die for. I got the pumpkin curry. I cannot put into words how amazing it was. Looking back on all 28 years of my life, I don’t think there has been any other food to touch my lips that was that memorable. I will be going up there at least once a month for the rest of my life for the pumpkin curry. My boyfriend got the spicy miso ramen and he loved it! But my pumpkin curry easily took home the prize for the best entree. Also our server was SOOOOO SWEET!!! I can’t remember her name but her + the pumpkin curry = best lunch of my life!!! You must check this place...
