Went in, 1 customer in front of me. Cashier called 2 younger employees over (who had apparently started their work day a few minutes earlier) to tell them to wash their hands, and do it as soon as they walk in the door each shift. It seems neither had done that, and at least one was def already working w food. Strike one. Then, she wiped her face with her hand, and then her nose, as if cleaning something off. The 1st customer had asked for a cup of ice, and she prepared one and handed it to him. Yes, she handled his cup, and the scoop. Strike two. Next she picked up a bag and placed my order in it. As she placed it on the counter I said it was bad enough having to tell two employees to wash their hands, but that she had wiped her face/nose. Quote: "Oh, I'm going to wash my hands."😡 I said "Good, but you touched his ice and my biscuit!" "I'll get you another one." I had already seen too many examples of a lack of sanitary conditions, and asked for my money back. No, I didn't ask for the Mgr. I didn't have time to waste in a place where I've experienced too many problems in the past. Read moreI usually like Jack's. But ever since this location reopened after it was torn down and rebuilt a few months ago, the service has been subpar. I don't think my order has been correct a single time I've gone since the reopening. It is usually rang up correctly, but I receive incorrect food. This morning, after waiting in the drive thru for over 20 minutes, I was handed the incorrect order at the window 3 times! I checked the receipt and it was correctly rang up. But they couldn't seem to get it together long enough to give me the breakfast I'd paid for. I've worked and managed in food service for many years, including the Covid-19 fast food industry boom. Read moreVisited here at 9am on a Sunday morning and was quite disappointed. We placed our order amongst several guests who were waiting for their food. We found the cleanest table that we could and managed to get the syrup spots and crumbs brushed off and waited 20 minutes. After no communication on our meals we requested a refund to which the manager had to be brought from the back to do. Several of the customers had become disgruntled over the amount of time they had waited. With a 75 for a health score I really would like to see this location turn their store around and get back to the Jack's I remember where every experience...
