Eddie's Drive-In West — Restaurant in Coloma Charter Township

Chose this place to eat based on the reviews and had hoped to experience the same as so many others. Instead my wife and I experienced a rather disappointing dinner.

We walked in and were told to stay ourselves and she'd be right with us. So we found a spot and waited for our menus and drink order to be taken. About 3 minutes later the waitress came and took our drink order, no menus in hand. Another 3-5 minutes go by we get our drinks, still no menus. Yet another 5 minutes or so go by and she returns to ask what we'd like to order and I have to ask her "are there any menus?". She goes and brings back 3 for us and we place our order.

Food arrives and my wife was more than disappointed with her sandwich. The most expensive sandwich under the sandwich section and it's just some pita bread with shredded iceberg, refrigerated chicken and diced tomatoes...I had the salad version of this sandwich and same deal but with a light amount of ranch drizzled on top and no parmesan like the menu said. My wife also had sweet potato fries that supposedly come with a sauce that we never got. All of this could've been addressed also if my waitress had ever come back to check on us about the food or drinks.

All in all I'm sure this place has had great service in the past but whoever you had as your server today was terrible. No smile, forgetful, no customer service and slow. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, you're better off finding another local place with better...

Avoid. At ALL costs. Why? My husband called tonite at around 7pm. They answered the phone & asked him to hold, they put the phone down, not on hold, down on the counter, so he could hear everything. My husband is FAR more patient than I am; he waited on the phone for 26 minutes - every couple of minutes I would hear him say "Hello, is anyone there?!"

He finally hung up. When I called half an hour later, I spoke to OLIVIA. When I recounted our experience to her - her response was "we'd have gotten to him as soon as we could have." Thinking she misunderstood the amount of time I'd told her my husband had been on hold, I restated the 26 minutes. She could have cared less! I was so shocked. Olivia then stated they were too busy & weren't taking any more diners. I stated we just wanted to pick up - and that was fine, but we really would've appreciated if someone had at least told us that was their situation.

While waiting for someone to get back to him, my husband could hear the conversation of the workers in the background. Let's just say...Olivia & her coworkers don't appreciate your business; go...

Called at 7:45pm and placed an order. They said it would be ready in 45 mins. My husband got there at 8:30 and they were closed. The girl told him they lost our order and that the kitchen is closed now. So he walked away empty handed. A year later (Aug. 2022) we decided to give them another shot. My husband said his hamburger was good but his fries were horrible. They weren’t done all the way and were dripping grease. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and only had one small slice of cheese on the left side and the other side was just toast. The tater tots I ordered was not done and also dripping grease. We ordered 16oz malts that barely had any malt in them. So $29.68 later the only thing from our order that was good was the hamburger. We had to throw away the fries and tater tots because they were half raw. What I’m trying to say is if you’re going to charge top price for just simply food you should make sure it’s edible. I normally don’t write reviews but I felt like they earned this one. Check out the pricing on...
