AffoGatto Coffee — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

So glad we were able stop in! We eagerly watched for signs of opening as we drove along woodmen. The coffee was delicious and they put so much care into every detail -- they have housemade syrups and whip that is the right amount of fluffy and sweet. They are environmentally focused and it shows in all the products they use, down to the straws even! The owners are kind and passionate and incredibly good at making wonderful drinks. We got their iced hazelnut latte, and a pink panther made caffeine free as italian soda. They have a small cat themed collection of games in the back that right now just sits on a table. I'd love to see them get their own shelf as the collection grows. Some cat games that we have at home are Kittygo, A Game of Cat and Mouth, Catstronauts, You've gotta be kitten me, and maybe Catan cuz... cat-an? I've been to many local coffee shops in town, mostly because I needed a good study spot, and I want to support a local business. This place is hands down, my favorite! I love the cozy atmosphere, all the cute decorations, and that it's run by an awesome husband and wife who know how to make you feel at home while in their shop. It is conveniently located next door to my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym, so I have the opportunity to stop in after 6 am class or in the evenings before my class begins. Any time you do come by, they are always happy to see you, and you're greeted with the wonderful aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods that are a delicious accompaniment. This coffee shop has been a dream come true! They have all the classic coffee drinks, but with a cat theme. As a cat lover, it’s so fun. Plus there’s seasonal and themed drinks that constantly rotate through. I love the feline artwork, decor, games, and the charitable connection to wild blue rescue. There’s comfy couches, small work tables, and a larger table perfect for meetings or board games. Especially as a vegan, I have so many options so I don’t miss out on the specialty drinks! If you haven’t had the raspberry linzers yet, run there now! They also have gf snacks too. They also sell adorable goodies for your furry friends and treats for yourself.
