Love the vibe!!! One of my faves! This is one of the best places around the area for uniqueness, vibe, food, respect, etc... Try their green chili!!! I got to eat outdoors, close to their vineyard. Lovely drinks were delivered to our table and it seemed like a picnic out in nature. Wonderful place also providing a drive thru for those of us on our way to work. They have a vineyard, farm and store right on the property there with lots of beautiful shade trees lining the front parking lot. It's well decorated and lit and they never cease to post up their newest menu items for the passer-by to see. It is earning it's robust gathering of people quite healthily. It seems to cater to the healthy and the promotion of healthy ingredients is never a cheap way to conduct business. There is live music, helping to set a family (blues/guitar/vocals) on Sundays @ even 1045. I'm unsure of how it is @ night. There is a store on property and parking in the rear for to-go orders separate from the drive thru window which can tend to back traffic up in front shaded lot. The Coyote's Coffee Den is a dream i would have loved to have been able to make any claim to as to it's style, cleanliness, staff, well- above-average-eats, etc! This place is a winner and I HIGHLY Recommend you to enjoy it!

Every road trip we take along a new, unexplored road, often leads us to coffee.....hhmmm. Might be because we love a good coffeehouse atmosphere as much as we enjoy the bitter mixture itself. Coyote's showed up along the highway suddenly just when we were getting hungry for lunch. It's an oasis of baked goods, sandwiches, and every coffee drink you could ask for. The folks the run this establishment are happy, a very good measurement of places we like to spend time. The outside patio and garden areas are simplify enchanting and allow the guest to breathe in some fine high-altitude air while watching distant vistas. For drivers passing through this is nourishment for the body and soul, plain and simple. Our next road trip through Colorado will definitely pass this way again, just so we can be contented customers once more.

Ok so we found this place by accident, originally going to eat across the street. But we had our dog with us so someone was going to stay in the car with him. Then we parked and saw Coyotes! They have outdoor seating, are dog friendly, and had live music. We ate breakfast and already came back twice to try lunch and breakfast again. Their potato salad is the best I've ever had in my life. And if you do breakfast definitely do your breakfast burrito smothered in green chile. 😋 I love the atmosphere here, the live music on Sundays is so good and today it was chilly for a summer day with a bit of rain and they had a fire going outside. After eating here 3 times I'm sure we'll be regulars. Don't pass by here.

Update: I had to reach out directly to the Den to get this resolved. But they did apologize and provide a resolution. I'm still strongly disappointed in this experience, and especially by having to do the extra work to get a response from them. My dad is still reluctant to go back and try them. BUT prior to this incident my experience with them had always been 5 Stars for everything. For this reason and because they did make an attempt to resolve it, I am adding some stars back.

I took my dad to their drive thru for the first time today, approximately 11am. I've long loved Coyote's from the time they first opened in Creekside Plaza. But my dad has never been to this restaurant.

This was a horrific first experience for my father and he never had the experience of their food.

We pulled up to the drive-thru. The car ahead of us almost immediately pulled forward into the spot ahead to wait for their order. Usually someone at the window would greet me and promise to be back with me if they were busy. This NEVER happened today. Instead we're hearing laughing and joking of staff, and hearing them sharing stories with walk-in customers for almost a full 10 minutes! Not once did anyone come to the window!

After the first 5 minutes I called out and asked if anyone was manning the window. No response. A couple more minutes - I called out the same question again. STILL no response. A couple minutes later, I beeped the horn. And STILL no response. Finally I holler - "Guess you don't want my money" and pulled away. Then, when I pull away and someone IMMEDIATELY comes to the window and greets the car that was BEHIND me. So naturally that makes a person think they're being ignored deliberately - though for what reason I can't possibly imagine.

I normally would never honk the horn or holler out. I only did so after ALREADY waiting a Significant amount of time. I recognize it was a busy hour and they had other customers. I would normally be perfectly content to wait ONCE someone acknowledged I was there. I could wait nearly indefinitely, and would do so happily because I love their restaurant so much - IF someone has just acknowledged me.

This was such an upsetting experience. I had just been bragging about their wonderful Service and food, and was horribly embarrassed and...

Usually love this place. Have taken friends and family from out of town and they love it too. Not impressed with the customer service. After we placed our $75+ order which we are always generous in supporting local and tipping , a girl that worked there came up to us and informed us someone else on the phone had just called and wanted two bear claws and told us we had to order something else. We had already purchased our order so how is it okay to come up and tell us she is giving it to another customer that ordered after us? She made us pick something else and didn’t give any other reasoning. I’m sorry I know It’s just a pastry but I found it very rude and unsettling. I’ve worked in customer service for years and I would never give up my tables order for someone who called on the phone. Would like to see management correct this before I come back

Update : the same young blonde girl left our food sit there and get cold for 20 minutes while we were waiting to go. She has come up to my boyfriend and I so she has to know it was his order as he sat and waited the entire time. Honestly disappointed and...
