Michael Dean's Country Café — Restaurant in Colorado

decided to try this place out after we got done rafting. we were greeted by the owner, michael, as soon as we walked in. the whole time we were there he constantly checked on us to make sure we were good and talked to us about his life and things he found interesting. the restaurant had this great family feel to it and the food was absolutely amazing. not only michael but the other two people working there were very nice and welcoming, too. definitely one of the best locally owned businesses i have ever been to. if you are wanting to find a great place to eat at in cañon city, i highly recommend michael dean’s country cafe.

Went out for breakfast. Like most places in these small towns we have out here in Colorado its a walk in and find a seat kinda joint. The menu is just right not to big not to small a good selection of whatever you might be in the mood for. Service is the best, Micheal Dean makes sure you feel like family when you visit. Food was served fast with local fresh options to add, meal was delicious and i will definitely be going back to try anything else on the menu i can. Would recommend for any group. And also check out the items he has for sale around the store local vendors as well as his own skill at pottery. Prices...

No need to look any further! This place is great and what's better than helping out a smaller business!? We've driven by this place many times without stopping and I wish I hadn't waited so long! Michael Dean's was so delicious! The prices are great for the quality and the amount of food you get and Michael Dean himself served us. The philly steak was so good!! They have pottery and other items for sale as well and they're so lovely! Definitely recommend this place and will continue to come back here for the friendly service and delicious foods!...
