Steilhang Hut — Restaurant in Colorado

Love the concept, but it was a bit of a let down. The dumpling soup was great but I can't say the same for the rest of the food we got. Frankfurter was salty and the bun was old and served cold. Weißwurst should not be served with the skin, the skin is chewy and ruins the taste. The inside was smaller than I imagined and I wouldn't say it's a "German-Style alpine hut"....

Fun little stop to grab a super fast bite to eat while out at the Basin. I believe it just opened last week Thursday even though the building was there last year. Kinda let down. Just a stale feel inside with no funk or culture. The only cool part of the place is the main sign for it. Even for on mtn dining a $17 brat is a bit over reaching. Not really worth it, watched many others look surprised and not buy one as well. They’d sell way more at a $12-$14...
