The Lucky Mutt — Restaurant in Colorado

Littleton needs a bar like this, great unassuming location, clean inside and out, decent food, and drinks (could be a little cheaper to bring in more of a crowd, i.e. $5.50 for a blue moon, $4.50 on happy hour). This is what we need, but this place has let me down first try. Bar has so much potential... SO much potential to do well in Littleton, where there is nothing, and nowhere to go out to eat, besides chain restaurants.

First, they need to improve their wait staff (maybe not all wait staff but most). Unfriendly server seemed annoyed to take our drink order and when it came time for food, she was too rushed to do anything but say "kay" after each of us ordered. Took them too long to make two burgers and an order of boneless wings. And no one checked on us if we needed anything after we got our food.

Food was comparable and for the most part better than other burger places nearby (red Robin, bad daddy's burgers, etc.) but the service is what made me leave a 2 star rating. Sub par service. Unfriendly and inattentive, best way to describe our evening. Party of three, out for dinner after a day of work. Probably could have had 3-4 drinks each, but after our first round was finished, the waitstaff didn't come back till our food was almost gone (my plate and one other were both empty) and at that point, I'm not drinking anymore, you had your chance to upsell me.

I will try this bar again, I'll give it a second chance, I'm not a snotty reviewer. Serve me lots of beer, often, and a decent burger and they'll get a large tab, a large tip, and a return customer. Tab was 58 for three dinners and three drinks. Could have been in the 80-100 range with a much better tip with better service. I live 2 minutes from this place, I hope it can become...

5/16/24 update - the male Thursday server is not attentive at all and could care less if we needed anything else after my husbands chicken sandwich and our beers were delivered. We were never asked if we wanted a beer refill and when we got our check from another server after trying to flag him down, we got double charged for beers. It’s fine if you’re busy but spread the love and check on all your patrons, not just regulars. Be better.

Original post 2022: Went for a late dinner and a beer this evening since everything else in Littleton was closed after 10pm. It didn’t disappoint! Vicki was an amazing server, so friendly and helpful. The bar has lots of TVs, a couple video games, pools tables and an outdoor patio with fire pit. I’ve almost stopped in several time before since we live close and I always imagined it a small bar inside but it’s actually quite large! The food was pretty good for bar food, nothing I’m dying to come back for though. I had a Buffalo chicken salad and my husband had the Denver cheesesteak sandwich with au jus and tater tots. I will definitely keep this on my list of late night eats in Littleton and I look forward to coming back during the day to do some patio beers...

Went in on a Friday night with my Fiance and I. When we sat down there was a table of 4 next to us who had just received their food. Our drink orders were taken quickly and drinks came in a reasonable time. I had to ask someone for a food menu. We ordered the smashed tots as an appetizer. In the time it took for our tots to be brought out the table next to us finished, left, and a new table of 4 was seated. We ordered our entrees when our appetizer was brought out. We ordered BBQ boneless wings and mac n cheese. The table of 4 that was seated when our appetizer came out sat down, ordered drinks, appetizers, and food and received their food while we proceeded to wait another 20 minutes after they got their food to get ours. Once we finally did get our food it was cold. Cold wings, cold mac n cheese, cold fries. I would have loved to tell our server that our food was cold but once we got our food no one ever came back. I even had to go up to the bar to get our check.

Just go to chilis or anywhere else that has a dedicated wait staff. We had 4 different people bring out drinks/food. Wont be back and wont...
