I’ve never been a “Karen” before when it comes to an experience based review, but there is a first time for everything. I went into this Wendy’s with low expectations as it is attached to a gas station. This location effectively provided a new all time low for me to base all my fast food experiences going forward. It wasn’t just one mishap, I have an entire laundry list of grievances.
Horrible customer service- the poor guy working the register seemed completely over it. He was hustling and trying to do the best he could while the staff working the line seemed to be goofing around. I would assume this contributed to his overall rudeness and lack of manners when speaking with customers. When I approached the counter to order, I was told to wait. He then returned after frantically running around to assist the line staff and I was addressed with a curt “yes?”. I felt like I was the one bothering him during his shift and it was a huge inconvenience to take my family’s order. When I asked for straws (to be addressed in item #2) he rudely told me to look behind me even though they were all out. When he refilled the straws, he was huffing and puffing about doing his job.
Lack of supplies - to clarify, they were missing napkins, straws, and several drink options in their soda machine. The self serve counters with basic supplies (salt, pepper, napkins, straws, etc) were picked clean. I totally understand being crazy busy during a dinner rush and not having the time to restock, so this didn’t initially bother me. What did annoy me, was the reaction I received when asking for said straws (as addressed above) This deterred me from also asking for napkins. The soda machine was out of Coke of all things. Now this isn’t a huge issue as the location is attached to a gas station, but worth noting for this particular experience.
Poor food quality- My husband ordered the new nacho burger. The bun he received was the same tiny bun used on my son’s jr. bacon cheeseburger. The fancy bun that was advertised was not to be found. I had a normal burger, and there was a clear size difference between his and my bun. Our food was sloppily thrown together, the contents a drowned mess of ketchup and mayo. Also worth noting is the mountain of pickles piled into my burger. To me this screams a lack of caring. I know this is a fast food location so I wasn’t expecting a gourmet burger, but it was clear there was a lack of effort with the preparation of our food.
If you are looking for a Wendy’s in this area, do yourself a favor and skip this location. We left extremely disappointed and will not be returning on any of our future road trips we make...
Read moreI have been all over the country, this is by far the worst gas station/ Wendy’s… Where do I start. Well the men’s bathroom seems to be in a dungeon, walked in urine all over the floor, I told the guy in the restroom that I should just pee on the floor like everybody else. No paper towels, they had a toilet paper to dry your hands. Now the good stuff! Mr. Dave you should be ashamed to have this place in Colorado. The employees are the worst I have ever seen.. I was behind this older Mexican couple, they was trying to order a meal and the lady that was on the register was being rude and getting mad. She walked away as they was ordering and came back 5 min to finish their order.. they get cups and the gentleman got ice and lo and behold he brought it back because it looked like it came from the lot out back. The lady got mad and said “ I hate these GD Mexicans!!” Soo being the polite young man I am I spoke up and told her that she had no right to call anybody names when she looked like a beached sea creature…. Take my advice and many others. Unless you wanna take a 3 hr break to get food and crappy bathrooms, you would be better off squatting on...
Read moreBeen driving all day with my husband and children. We stopped in at 11:10pm. They had no cheese, so no baconator fries for the kiddos, no sweet tea, "no lemonade of ANY kind" and they got mad when we added a 3rd burger at the window. We were actually going to change the order but the girl didn't come to the window or acknawledge us until we called her over so we figured the 1st burger was already made so we just added the burger and paid for the burger we weren't going to eat. It was NOT busy and the girl at the window shouted to the guy in the back and said "I'm sorry! They added it at the window!", in a frustrated tone. Smh, I made it a point to ask what closing time was (12am) because I seriously think they turned off all their machines and really didn't want to serve anything with cheese, or any of the lemonades, or sweet tea. We ended up feeding the kids fries and had unsweat tea. I seriously inspected my food to make sure they didnt spit in it. It looked questionable but I'm starving so I'm hoping for the best 😂🤦🤞🤞🤞 sadly after reading some of the bad reviews, I don't think much will change. I told my husband to remind me not to ever...
