West Hill Grill — Restaurant in Colorado

Wow.

My husband and I recently moved to Littleton and were looking for a local bar and came here Saturday September 16th around 6pm looking to have a great time. We Uber'd here, walked up to 2 empty spots at the bar and sat down.

And that's (almost) the end of our experience.

We were there for 15 minutes and no one waited on us (one of the main reasons we came here was the Tuaca shots). Two bartenders made eye contact with us and continued to wait on other customers. A customer --- that I got the vibe was a local --- came in, and I told my husband "If she gets service before us, we're out." Within 30 seconds, she got service, so we went outside and waited on the Lyft I called. A wonderfu woman (named Peggy) came outside to smoke and started chatting us up in a friendly manner and we told her what happened. She (in lamen's terms) essentially said "Hell no!!" She took me in with her and we got service instantly. I ordered 2 Tuaca shots, took 1 and gave the other to my husband. Then our Lyft pulled up and we left.

The only reason we got a drink was because of Peggy, who was super sweet - thank you! As locals, we will not be back here, since we know we won't be waited on. We'll just keep on going to the Lucky Mutt (we've been here a few times and have had no issues getting great service).

Best buffalo wings in town and I've been to all the buffalo wing restaurants, franchises, grills, and food trucks in town. The first thing that makes West Hill Grill Buffalo Wings so good, is their consistency in flavor and texture. If you order hot buffalo wings one day, they'll be the same next time you return. I love the tangy vinegar punch and right amount of heat to make my neck sweat and sunglasses atop my head fog up. Finally, the thickness of the sauce and how it covers each wing, sticking to it and not just turning to oil, dripping to the bottom, waiting to be stirred around and coated again.

I've been to West Hill Grill with friends and family but I always get the same thing, hot buffalo wings and either a beer or a martini. Fortunately, friends and family mix it up a bit more... The "Crack" wings and "Habanero Crack" are very good and a lot of people go for them over hot buffalo.

West Hill Grill has authentic Buffalo New York style meals and I can't wait to try the beef on weck and fried bologna!

The staff is really great and prices are reasonable. Not much...

The food here is amazing and that’s what kept us coming back. The best wings in town for sure! Now to the service here…… Absolutely the worst service I have ever received today. I placed a to-go order and the server who answered the phone was nice but rushed the order and placed it as 2 separate to-go orders. The place charges a $3 to-go fee which I 100% disagree with! Well I handed them my card and they ran it, with 2 charges on it. I brought this to their attention and I was told they voided it, with no receipt handed to prove this to my bank. I stated my thoughts on this matter and walked back to my table. A few minutes passed and one of the servers approached me and said, “Maybe I wasn’t clear, you still need to pay your tab” while standing over me! Well this aggressive action created an equal reaction. I was then told to leave!

I would love a call with a manager to discuss this matter! We order here 2-3 times a week and would hate to let...
