⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Southern Buffet Done Right! If you’re ever in Colquitt, GA, make it a point to stop by Moby Dick’s! This place is the real deal when it comes to classic Southern comfort food served buffet-style. The catfish was perfectly seasoned and fried to golden crispiness—truly some of the best I’ve had. The carving station was a standout, offering freshly sliced meat that was both tender and flavorful. The vegetables were home-cooked and tasted just like grandma used to make—creamy mac and cheese, seasoned greens, and more. The dessert bar? Absolutely to die for. I had the peach cobbler and it was warm, gooey, and full of flavor—just the way it should be. The atmosphere was lively and a bit noisy, but that’s just part of the charm. It’s a very family-oriented spot with self-seating and pay-at-the-front service. Everyone was kind, helpful, and kept things moving smoothly. Highly recommend if you’re craving Southern hospitality and a full belly. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent Southern Buffet. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. The staff is all wearing masks and those handling food are wearing gloves. The fried chicken, cream corn, coleslaw, cornbread dressing was all very good. For dessert I enjoyed Banana Pudding The server was very attentive bringing drink refills etc Price was very reasonable $15 including drink and tax

Hands down the BEST ALL YOU CAN EAT RESTAURANT I have ever had! The thinnest lace cornbread, okra fried to perfection, baked chicken that falls off the bone! Desserts were Southern favorites, homemade banana pudding with real meringue, hot peach cobler and more!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Kept very clean. Always very busy, line out the door around lunch time. Food is good, just not a very large variety. Meat choices mainly: roast beef (which I have yet to try for it always being too rare), turkey (a good choice), ham (my preferred choice), and fried chicken (which I don't care for so not tried theirs). Sometimes a few other random meats. There are not enough vegetable choices! The butterbeans are good. I like the mac and cheese but it stays running out so don't always get to get some. The green beans have meat with them (which I don't personally like). Other side dishes are usually casserole dishes (surprise, I don't like those either!). Bread is lace cornbread, cornbread muffin, or a roll. The salad bar is always really good. I don't typically look at the desserts as it's mostly pie slices and cake slices like strawberry, blueberry, ect. Or banana pudding and cobblers. (which yet again is not anything I like). To be fair, I am a picky eater. Country buffets are not my first choice in places to eat because of this, but I do still find enough to eat to make it worth it. If country food are your thing, then is definitely a...

Food can be hit and miss. Some days its good, other days it's all right. The salad bar is wonderful and with our new updated pricing systems honoring different categories of people on different days, as well as having A reduced salad bar only price, it makes it even there when all you're going to have is salad feel a little better.

Service is great, friendly and on the spot. That's what keeps you coming back.

The building itself has been updated, and while the new decor and overall ambiance are improved, the biggest and probably greatest Improvement is the restrooms which now have several stalls available, is clean and...
