I really have to say I am really disappointed in this place. We found this place a couple of months ago and have been ordering a lot from here. But today was very disappointing. We ordered some pizza some rice balls and a sausage and pepper roll. After my wife ate half of the Roll she realized there was no peppers in it. Closer inspection I realized it was not a sausage and pepper roll but a Philly cheesesteak role they mislabeled it. So we did not eat the other half. We go to get the check and pay and they didn't even take the roll off for the mistake they have made and after we left I looked at the bill and realized that they not only charged us for a sicilian slice that we never ordered but also rounded up the check to the nearest dollar. First of all who are they to round off to the nearest Dollar without even telling you. I am really disappointed that was a biggie for me we should not have paid for the mistake that they have made. But lesson well learned we will continue to go to Amano...
Read moreFollowing a list of the best pizzarias in NJ, today was our day to visit Prima Pizza in Colts Neck. This was the sixth pizza place we ate at out of the 15 on the list. My friend and I agreed this was the best one so far and I think others are going to have a hard time beating this one. NJ Magazine recommended the Eggplant pizza so we had to have that one. We also ordered the plain pizza. The eggplant was crispy. The dough was perfect. The cheese was plentiful. The sauce was very tasty. We left talking about when we could come back. In addition to the pizza being amazing, the owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. This added to our wonderful experience. Even if you don’t live near Colts Neck, it’s worth the trip. We came from over an hour away and...
Read moreThe owner was kind to me, he's a good guy serving good pizza. I stopped by a little after 8 pm after my father's wake which was at a funeral home around the corner. I was sad and hadn't eaten since breakfast on account of the ceremonies. I didn't notice that the lights were off in the restaurant, he had closed and was literally walking out with a box of pizza for his family. Most people would just say "sorry, closed". He took pity on me and asked me what I wanted. Two cheese slices. He offered to give me the pizza he was taking home. We ended up splitting the pie. He threw in garlic knots, into the fridge in the back for marinara. I didn't tell him my situation till I was leaving but I guess he sensed some sympathy. Meant a lot to me. Good...
