Had the brisket sandwich with Mac n' cheese. Asked for and happily received a very small sampling of the beef burnt ends. They were extremely good but didn't really hit the bar as burnt ends. Next time I come, I plan to order the beef burnt end sandwich. No doubt it'll be good. Brisket was dry. A good brisket will stand by itself. Will be moist and will not need the BBQ sauce. This one needed the sauce. The Mac n' cheese was just that. Pasta tasted like it was water cooked - no seasoning. I didn't expect it to be amazing and was served what I expected. I ordered this to see what they did with it to make it a blast. It was ordinary. The service was great. They didn't have to give me a sample of the burnt ends, and I didn't press them for it. They provided the sample, and that alone gives them high marks for service. Another staff member even helped from the bar with my receipt. Great service! Loved the layout of the place. Nice! All in all, it's a great place for dinner. Anytime I dine at a BBQ restaurant for the first time , brisket is my go-to. If they do a stand-up brisket, then everything else likely will be as amazing. Like this place enough to give it another chance to sample the rest of the menu. Smoke on.

Como Smoke and Fire should be a go to place for anyone who likes BBQ. All the foods we tried were delicious. We started with Jalapeno Bottle Caps and Portabella Mushroom Fries, both were really good. Jalapeno Bottle Caps was spicy and met my expectation. For Entrees we ordered Brisket, Sampler plate, Grilled Mac and Cheese Sandwich. Their House Made Fries was good but I recommend Sweet Potato Fries for little extra. I decided to have Floating Salad as one of my sides with Brisket Sandwich I ordered. Really enjoyed the little salad, recommended. Beef brisket meat was nicely cooked, not under or overdone. Sampler plate was nicely portioned with 4 different kinds of meat – turkey, beef brisket, pulled pork and hot dog. Foods were fresh and cooked on the spot. We decided to use the outdoor seating they provided, was not disappointed. We had to wait around 30 min to get our food because of a large group came right before us but it was worth the wait. Server did excellent job checking on us, refilling drinks etc. Make sure to try different type of BBQ sauce they offer inside. They have a big parking area in the back side of the restaurant. I highly recommend this place for any meat lover.

OK. No problems here. That is a pork steak in the picture. How many BBQ places have you been in, and they have pork steak? The answer is none. I've been into BBQ places all over Texas and have never seen pork steak. And that's saying a lot because Texas has more BBQ places than the Gulf has water! Just saying. And somebody at the grill knows what they're doing because it's very easy to overcook pork. They did not. It had an extremely good grilled flavor. Highly recommend it. The baked beans were very good. I judge BBQ places on their baked beans. If they can't even get baked beans right, then what are they doing in the business. That brings me to the mac & cheese. It's very creamy and cheesy. Definitely some good, classic mac & chesse. I read a review that disavowed the mac & cheese and baked beans. That person is clueless. That wasn't my experience at all. They were both very good! Other, things: the bar is huge, four TVs, clean, friendly, fast, etc. This type of place always creates the same problem. You leave feeling a little miserable because you can't quit eating. Just saying.

I recently visited Como Smoke and Fire, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The ambiance was inviting, with a warm and rustic charm that set the stage for a good BBQ meal. The food was generally quite good. The star of the show, the ribs, had a great smoky flavor. The other meats, including the pulled pork and ribs, were juicy and flavorful, making up for the brisket's dryness. The sides were also noteworthy, especially the mac and cheese, which was creamy and delicious. Service was a bit slow, which was a minor downside, but the staff was friendly and attentive once they got to our table. It seemed like they were a bit unmotivated during my visit, which might have contributed to the delay. In summary, Como Smoke and Fire is a pretty good BBQ spot. While the brisket could use a bit more moisture and the service could be faster, the overall quality of the food and the friendly atmosphere make it a place worth visiting. I'll definitely be back to try more of their offerings.

Called at least 5 times before they finally answered for a carryout. When I got through they took my order but were cutting in and out cause of all the calls coming in. I ordered a pit salad, burnt ends meal, and half order of portobello fries. My food was ready in 20 minutes, picked up, paid, left a nice tip. Got home and the burnt ends meal didn't have the sides with it. There was 2/3rds of the styrophome container empty, how can the cook/server look at that then close it and think the meal is complete... anyways. I tried calling them another three times to tell them, but no answer. So I drove back to get the sides, the bartender was friendly and apologetic. She made me a priority and got my sides quickly. However, the mac and cheese that I got had a bug in it (see picture). The fly was halfway down the mac and cheese container so be on a look out. I used to love this place but am hesitant to eat there anymore.

Sept 29, 2021, Tonight was an especially amazing night. I arrived at 8:03 - literally 3 minutes after they closed. However, they were ALL SOOO AMAZING and still took my order. WE ALWAYS ALWAYS HAVE AN EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE HERE. Tonight just proves how fabulous they are. They didnt have to take our order, they had already closed BUT THEY STILL DID. It is ALWAYS fantastic BBQ and the greatest service we have EVER had. They have a large menu. It is ALWAYS amazing BBQ. The portions are super large. Eric gets the Sampler Plater and boy did they hook it up. I got the pulled pork entree and it was loaded up. My son got a kid's meal Grill Cheese and 1/2 my meal. It was soo good and definitely enough to eat tomorrow. ***Note: the pic with the fork - that is 1/2 what it started out as. It just smelled soo good I completely forgot to take a pic until I was done.***
