This is an update to my original review, which is noted below, and was originally 5 across the board. The updated and most recent visit is noted here: I visited in mid July, 2025 with my girlfriend. It was late afternoon, but it wasn't super busy. The patio did just open up a bit before we arrived, due to rain. We were quickly seated outside. We moved tables because the sunbrella didn't work at our table. It took quite a while for anyone to come to the table for water or drink orders. Not just a small wait, but nearly long enough that I was considering going over to the beach bar instead, and I'm relatively patient. Water arrives. A person that isn't our server (we hadn't met her yet), arrived, apologized for the wait, and took a drink order. One beer, one amaretto sour. Again, it took a significant amount of time for those to arrive. We also ordered calamari appetizer, and that arrived in a reasonable amount of time (the calamari was really good, we both really enjoyed that). When it was delivered, I ordered a vodka tonic at that point, and we ordered our meals. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with no onion, and my girlfriend ordered a grilled chicken wrap with no tomato. Both with honey mustard on the side. The vodka tonic never came out, and the same gentleman who wasn't our server walked over and asked about it, and I told him it was never sent. He brought it out after a bit, but then our food was right behind it. At that point, I was no longer interested in the drink, to be honest. I wanted to enjoy it before the meal. Both of our wraps were wrong. Her wrap had fried chicken, and tomatoes (she doesn't eat them), and mine had fried chicken, and onion (red onion is my nemesis). We kinda laughed about this, that both were wrong. The server took it back immediately and it came out pretty quickly, but then mine had no tomato, and she was missing honey mustard (it took a while for that to come out). The same man who had been around (I suspect maybe a manager), brought out salt, pepper, ketchup, etc., which was never placed at our table due to the earlier rain). Regarding my wrap, I didn't ask for it to be remade again due to lack of tomato. We both agreed that the wraps were okay. We didn't expect anything mind blowing with a wrap, but they didn't have very much chicken in them. The fries were very hot, fresh, and good though. Then the wait for our bill began. It took a while, and then after she delivered it, the same man who had kinda been hovering around came over and asked if we wanted any dessert. We declined. I admit, at that point, I was kinda frustrated with the experience. I didn't say anything, nor was I rude, but I'm guessing my body language was giving it away. When he returned with the receipts, he advised he took the calamari off the bill. I think he knew the service wasn't really up to par that evening, for our table. That was appreciated. Overall, it wasn't a very great experience. I've been here a few times, and I do think this is not typical, and normally they are great. Because of that, I'm moving my original 5 of 5 down just to a 4 overall. Hopefully when we visit again, it's a much better experience. Original Review Below ---------------------- Eagle's Nest has excellent food and really nice staff. The burgers are superb. Our waitress, Sadie, was very nice, and helpful. Sitting outside on the water is a must.

This is hands down one of my favorite "secret spots" to visit and watch boats go by and the sun set on beautiful days in summer. They have a lovely patio, partly covered under a tiki roof and the other half with tables that have umbrellas. There are 2 bars inside and a rail of bar seats outside facing the water. They have a nice space indoor as well if that's your preference. They let me bring my dog on the patio too when I brought her once. The food is delicious. (Get the spicy corn salsa and chips as an appetizer!) I highly recommend going. It can be very crowded on Friday and Saturday evenings or early for Sunday brunch, especially on holiday weekends. Most of the time, though, it's lovely. The waiters are not always the fastest but are friendly.

I really hope the new owner knows how his staff are treating people. Shaunte (spelling?) was absolutely terrible. My mom, sister, and I were out for a girls night. Sat down at the bar and told her “I’d like a high noon, what flavors do you have?” She doesn’t answer me, just asks “well, what kind do you want?”. So I tell her mango. Well, they don’t have mango. “What else?” She asks. So I repeat my question “well, what kind do you have?” Where she AGAIN will not answer me and continues to tell me to “just pick another flavor”. Well, I don’t drink that much so I don’t KNOW what other flavors there even are!! But, at this point I don’t want a drink anymore. After she walked away, of course I complain to my family about her rudeness. she comes back to the bar, looks right at my mom and sister, and tells them how “lovely the TWO of you are”. All 3 of us decide it’s time to leave at that point. That was when the manager, Stephanie got involved. After I let her know what happened, according to people around the bar after I left, the two just sat there complaining the whole time. Awful bar service and I didn’t even get to order the food. Left a horrible taste in my mouth and I will NEVER go back. We Left there an went straight to beach bar. Asked the bartender the same question and actually got an...

We are summer and fall visitors to this restaurant. However if last night had been our first visit? We might have decided to never go back. Our waitress couldn't get our food order correct, she took my fork before I was finished eating and I had to hunt her down to ask for another one to finish my dinner. Her answer " oh I thought you were finished " If she truly thought that why did she leave my dinner plate at the table? The food was good however the waitress neglected to place the order for my side salad. Thankfully someone else brought me one. The music was great unfortunately our drinks were awful. An Old Fashiobed is not hard to make and they are back big time but ours were awful. The waitress never came back until dinner was almost over and by then it's too late. We like this place and we know that they can do better. Please do better the next time we visit and have your bartenders know how to make your drinks! Old Fashions are not served with a glass full of ice and the ratios were way off with the ingredients too last night. I hate leaving a bad review hopefully someone in management will see this. More training is needed with the staff! The food is good though which is a big plus...
