We’ve been Loofy’s-Lovers for a very very long time. We understand that new ownership of a restaurant is going to cause some changes. BUT, when you take over an established restaurant with a loyal and limited clientele and you don’t change the name (the name is everything - it implies it’s the same), you will have customers that expect a certain level of familiarity. Pizza is pizza. You can get decent pizza at a lot of different places. But — and I know this will get brought up a ton — good ranch is extremely hard to find. I can eat ranch at many different pizza places, but Loofy’s did have one of the best. What they’re offering now is not ranch. It’s sour cream with lots of dill. It’s very unpleasant and doesn’t resemble ranch at all. Even taking original Loofy’s ranch out of the picture for comparison, it’s just terrible and NOT ranch and shouldn’t be called ranch. I know it seems like a minor detail, it’s not. Some people (including myself) don’t even eat pizza or cheesebread without ranch. I’m begging you, please switch back to the old. We can always drive just a little further to get ranch that actually tastes good to go...
Read moreI called ahead to order and was told the pizzas would be ready in about 30 minutes. I showed up right on time to pick them up, expecting maybe a short wait if they were just wrapping up—no big deal.
But it quickly became clear something was off. The staff, mostly teenagers, were scurrying around behind the counter, clearly disorganized. After standing there for a while with no update, I found out one of the pizzas hadn’t even been put in the oven until 10 minutes after I arrived. They had completely forgotten it.
There was no communication about the delay—no apology, no explanation—just confusion and silence until I asked what was going on. Mistakes happen, and I get that things can get busy, but it’s frustrating when there's a clear lack of coordination and no one takes a moment to acknowledge it.
When we finally got the pizza, the ranch tasted off and the pizza itself was cold due...
Read moreWe used to love Loofy’s, but our last couple orders have been disappointing, and our very last order will keep us from ordering there ever again! We called @ 4:19 pm for 2 medium pizzas to be delivered. We were quoted 1 1/2 hours for delivery. We called a little early expecting a higher wait time on a Saturday. We patiently waited, but I decided to call and check the status at 6 pm. I was informed it hasn’t left yet because they were behind. We decided to wait a little bit longer since the lady claimed it was the next one out the door. Well, it’s 7:00 pm and it hasn’t arrived yet. How in the world can one delivery 5 miles from the shop take almost 3 hours? I get a place gets busy, but apparently their solution to being less busy is to lose business all together. We will never order here again. ...
