Café 52 — Restaurant in Columbia

I stopped by this evening after work. Just because I didn't no what I wanted and thought I would help out a local small business. But when you just have 1 menu on the counter with prices, I'm sorry but I want the correct prices even if you have to mark the old price out and put the new price there when it is a paper copied. I had a headache and going home when I got down the road I figured in my head how did they get the price if the menu said $6.99. And it was over $9.00. I called and was told the price increased because of increase in there cost and they were getting new menu's printed. The increase was just a 1.00 more but still don't know now it was over $9. I said when I order I would like to know if the price increased but she said the menu has at the bottom subject to increase. I didn't read the whole menu.... even though I like helping out small business but when they don't up to date and didn't seem to care at all when I called. Sorry but want be returning. The food was good so no problem with that. I know I should have caught it at first when I paid but just wasn't thinking until heading home. They didn't seem to care about informing me of change of prices , so sorry I don't care to help...

So my father in law and I stopped into this place and it seems to be fairly new (1 year old). The servers stay at the counter and take your order. They seemed to be tentative to us but @ the same time it's kinda of a small place. I got the westerner burger and sweet potato fries and my F-in-L got the bacon cheese burger and onion rings. Both meals were fresh and good. The frys and onion rings were also good. One of the better things about this place to me is the sweet tea, it was not overly sweet and you can have free refills. After the meal I got a vanilla milkshake and it was pretty darn good. They have alot of different flavors and they are hand made. The price was reasonable for the two Meals and two drinks which came to $23. The shake was alittle high in price...

Wow what a great dining experience , yes it does take a few minutes to get your order, but it is well worth it.All food is cooked fresh to order. The hamburgers the 52 burger is delicious it’s loaded with toppings it’s juicy it’s sirloin and hamburger on a French bun definitely a top-of-the-line hamburger.
