China King — Restaurant in Columbia

Pains me to write a bad review about a small business. The lady at the counter was not friendly but not rude either. Based on previous reviews she must be having a good day. IDK -Maybe it is a cultural thing to be abrupt and not say thank you or make eye contact. The husband cooking the food seemed nice.

When I saw the 95 sanitation rating I was a bit worried but hadn't eaten all day and wanted to enjoy my meal so I did not look up their health violations.

I ordered #7 fried chicken wings with pork fried rice. The chicken was so so. The pork fried rice was bland and most of the pork was pork fat. Not tasty by any means. I only ate 1/3 of my meal. My son and his friend ordered from China King last week and inhaled their food. I ordered today and could not eat it. I don't know if it was me or something went wrong.
