I am not a foodie, so they may have more informed opinions. The restaurant has relocated from borderline shabby southeast Columbia, Missouri conveniently near U.S. Highway 63 and Nifong/AC to the leading edge of the southwest sprawl, still on AC. That building is a new mini-shopping plaza behind a gas station and slightly concealed from the road. Parking is convenient and plentiful. The reserved table was available when we arrived. The food was as good as any of the other 4 or 5 Mexican restaurants around Columbia, MO that I have tried. The menu had a lot of items. Whether it had a variety is a question best left to an expert. The descriptions were often indistinguishable to me. The service was fast but the servers changed shift between order and delivery. Estimates are that two of the 8 in our party did not get what they ordered but just accepted the situation due to the language difficulty in communication. There was little interaction with the servers during the meal. Associating the bills with the customers did not go quickly. If my bill was for what I ordered then the price was a dollar more than indicated on the menu. At this point not worth disputing. The one special "no dairy" order was correctly made and delivered and appreciated. Some servings were generous enough to require...

I thought this might be a good place to get Mexican takeout for the first time since living here since it's close. I ordered curbside takeout online. I pulled up right at my pickup time and called to say I was here just like my receipt told me to. The guy seemed like it was unexpected and said "Oh okay, I'll be right out." I waited for 20 minutes until I finally had to go in to see what was going on. There was only one employee (not the guy I'd talked to) and I was ignored for another five minutes. The whole time my food was sitting right there and apparently nobody could've brought it out to be right in front of the door. The whole point of "curbside" was so I didn't have to risk going into the restaurant with a bunch of other people, but I guess that was pointless! I was treated like an inconvenience and a bother for being there. As a result my food was cold and soggy by the time I got back to eat it 3 minutes away. Very bad first impression and obviously they don't care about attending to customers. Don't intend to go back. I'd rather drive farther than have to deal with that...

"3 strikes we out" We will never order take out or visit this restaurant again. Last night we had dinner at the restaurant and it look the waitress several times to get our drink order right. We asked for water and got lemonade, asked for water again got soda. We had to tell her 3 times that we would like bean dip with our chips. Our food finial came out which was right and everyone got what we ordered but an order of beef fajitas was just veggies. We said something to two different waitress and nothing was done about it. The owner was told about it and he did nothing. A few months ago our first time we ordered take out and was told it will be 30-45 mins. Went to pick up order and our order was never sent to the kitchen. 2nd time we paid a visit we ate inside and service was poor and food was okay we have had much better Mexican...

Edit: Past three times this place has gotten worse and worse. Portions keep getting more and more sparse and the service had quickly become the worst in town. Last time we sat for 15 mins before we were able to flag down a waiter to get our drink order. Someone else dropped half of our order and we never saw our waiter again. Asked another server for a refill and the rest of our food after about an hour. Neither came, so we just ate what we had, paid up front and left. We're done with this place. Got carry out. Decent food. A little expensive, but good portions. A bit underseasoned, but the green salsa was good enough to compensate. Think they forgot to reheat the tortillas after they took them out of the fridge. They were a bit cold and slimy.

This is probably the best decorated Mexican restaurant I’ve ever encountered this side of the border. And the food is on point! We had a steak nachos. Extremely delicious. Great cuts of meat with lots of fresh veggies, and The cheese sauce has just a little slight bite to it which makes it interesting. The service was a little slow but we got there at a off-peak time So it was slow throughout the whole restaurant. If you’ve ever done serving before you know you can get busy doing back of house stuff and forget you got that one customer that needs a refill and a drink. So we’re not gonna ding them on that today. Lots of fun choices oh and they hand make their own chips which are delightful. Will come again.

Chips are good. Salsa and Caso is ok. Guacamole was good. Service was average, not spectacular. Loud inside. Nice tables and padded seats. Some have ripped material on them. Margaritas were ok but I forgot to order the top shelf when we ordered so that likely my fault. We arrived before the rush of Tiger fans and yet our meal was not served before many other’s received their meals. According to our waitress our ticket somehow was moved out of order in the kitchen. Refried beans were too “soupy”, way over mashed or whipped. Steak fajita was good. We may come back to try again.
