My family has loved Little Pigs for years... I'm talking more than 20 years here! But sadly, the last few times we've been, it's been such a let down, because we know how good they were before. We tried again today and were, once again, disappointed. Let me start by saying, that I am not a BBQ person and because of an illness, I can't eat acidic things (ketchup base or vinegar base) and I just don't like mustard anything. LoL That being said, I still LOVE going to Little Pigs! We use to go as a family with my grandparents! (And all the cousins and aunts and uncles) It was my granddaddys favorite place to eat after church on Sundays, and we'd always get the big long tables in the back! Now, we go with our children and grandchildren. So this review actually makes me kinda sad, but like I stated, this has been ongoing the last few times. My "go to's" are those delicious green beans, the cheesy macaroni, crispy fried chicken, plain tender pulled pig, and those golden crunchy hush puppies! Yummy!! Not this time. All of the food was cold, except the hushpuppies, which were warm. Even the fresh pan of mac n cheese that we were excited to see them put out as we were approaching. The flavor of the green beans was there, they were just cold. The macaroni and cheese was cold and dry. The fried chicken was the coldest thing I got and the skin was cold and soggy, just unedible imo. The pulled pig wasn't cold, but wasn't warm, it was more like room temperature, but the flavor was good. I tried again with a second plate to try and get something warm I could enjoy after waiting for them to replenish things. All of it, still cold. It was like the warmers weren't working or something. My husband and daughter in law both ate the different bbqs and hash and said they were cold. First time I've ever seen my husband throw BBQ and hash away! DIL said okra was good. Husband said the coleslaw was very dry, and it almost looked like just chopped cabbage without any sort of dressing. The saving grace was one last pan of mac n cheese, and I got a little bowl and it was yummy and cheesy and creamy and hot! And of course, they all loved both the puddings. I was really hoping to enjoy it all like we use to. I don't know. I'm sure I'll try again, cause it's Little Pigs, but I hope it gets back to how...

Restaurant is supposed to be an all you can eat buffet. My party of 3 went there to eat and from the time we were fixing our plates; the owner sat at the table, watching and talking about the amount of food on our plates to other guests, friends, etc.

My guests were from out of town and excited about eating southern bbq and yes, fixed a healthy plate.

After eating, We proceed to ask how much would it cost to pay for the remainder of the food "as a take out plate," just the food that was left on the plate.

The attitude of the front counter staff was very nasty, not to mention the owner then got up from the table and stated, how he watched us from the time we were at the buffet and knew we weren't going to eat all that food; and that he pays a lot of money for his food!!! He even stated how much the food weighed, Really!!!!

Again; we were wanting to pay for an additional plate as take out; we could have just trashed the remaining food like everyone else; but because we wanted to take the food that was left on our plates, we asked to pay for it as takeout.

The owners posture, tone, attitude and demeanor was so rude which flowed over into the front counter staff.

I will NEVER, EVER eat there again and I will DISCOURAGE ANYONE who ask me from going to this restaurant.

I have been in management and have been in family business for over 15+ years; I am very strong on GOOD/GREAT customer service.... NEVER in all my years have I treated nor received such negative, awful customer service, especially from an OWNER of a business.

I've always been taught in customer service that, "The customer is always right"; if the customer is wrong, revert back to rule number one, "The customer is...

If you're a fan of BBQ and have a hearty appetite to match, then 'Three Little Pigs' is a must-visit! When I heard about their all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet, it seemed like a dream, and the reality did not disappoint.

The variety of the buffet was nothing short of jaw-dropping. From ribs to chicken (smoked, fried, and wings), mouth-watering pulled pork to flavorful sausages, this place was a smorgasbord of BBQ. The notable absence of brisket from the menu was understandable, considering the jaw-droppingly low price of under $30 for a family of 4 (2adults and 2 kids).

But the quality of food was where 'Three Little Pigs' really shined. Each dish was cooked to perfection, loaded with a depth of flavor that was incredibly satisfying. Every bite seemed to melt in my mouth.

The sides were not to be overlooked either - they had a wide range, each complementing the main dishes perfectly. Cornbread, coleslaw, potato salad, you name it - it was all there. And their BBQ sauce? Out of this world!

The ambiance of 'Three Little Pigs' added to the entire experience. It had that authentic, down-home feel that's perfect for a family BBQ meal. Picnic tables and fold out chairs, and a rooster crow from the neighbors yard on the way in. Maybe that will be on the menu next time.

All in all, this visit to 'Three Little Pigs' has been one of the best BBQ experiences I've had in a while. The value for money is unbeatable and the quality of food is excellent. I've never seen anything like it, and I'm already planning to bring family when they visit. If you're a BBQ lover, do yourself a favor and head to this place. You won't be...

My partner & I made the time to visit Little Pigs Barbecue today in person. Previously HIGHLY Recommended by our neighbor, who was kind enough to bring back a sampling during one of there recent visits, one taste was all it took for us to realize we MUST visit Little Pigs Barbecue in person. We visited on a Thursday afternoon, around 12:30. The restaurant wasn't too terribly crowded, but still had a sizable number of tables full of families & friends enjoying the spread Little Pigs Barbecue puts forth for their buffet. The food was absolutely AMAZING! everything from the beans, collard greens, mac & cheese, ribs, pulled chicken or pork or beef, simply stated, you WON'T leave Little Pigs Barbecue hungry! Oh, & their chocolate pudding & banana pudding (we mixed them together for a luscious dessert) was over the top indulgence at it's best. The atmosphere at Little Pigs Barbecue is laid back, non pretentious, family & friends style, you find a table suited for the number of persons in your visit, & then help yourself to the buffet & condiments provided to suit your taste. A kind lady takes care of serving beverages at the beverage station, I opted for a cup of sweet tea, my partner was in the mood for a coke, and they have several other options available to suite most thirst cravings. Overall, I have no hesitation raing Little Pigs Barbecue a ***** 5 Star ***** venue, with the food double the number of stars! If you're looking for an amazing down home southern style BBQ venue to satisfy your craving, I would very much recommend you give Little Pigs Barbecue a try. The value is well worth it!

Few restaurants allow you to be so gluttonous. This place doesn't even try to make you think you have eaten healthy. They have no salad, your options extend to meat or meat, or Mac n Cheese, and pure sugar desert pudding, all served out of a trough and on classy styrofoam plates... and frankly, it's this the makes the place. Eating things from a trough that ate out of a trough. 🎵 because it's the circle of life! 🎵 You go to this restaurant only when you want to make regretful decisions, because you will eat loads of food that just wrecks your insides, and then you go back for more, only to wake up in the middle of the night, still bloated and full thinking " why did I eat so much?". Then the next morning after your mind is cleared you think, "man that was worth it". Before you know it, you have lost all self control, youre smoking now, even though you quit years ago, drinking even though you know liver disease runs in the family. It's a place that causes you to lose all inhibition, doing everything you know is wrong, just because it feels so right.

You could almost say I grew up on this plate and have been eating here off and on for almost 20 years. As best as I can tell this is the original and real Little Pigs. I have encountered one in the Anderson and there's one in Spartanburg and all of the same name but none are related and they don't come nowhere near to being close to the Little Pigs buffet in Columbia. This is the best Little Pigs and they cover all 3 bbq styles: vinegar/pepper, mustard (true SC bbq) and the red bbq. I've tried all 3 styles here and they're all good! In addition to great bbq and authentic hash they also have smoked sausage, fried chicken, ribs, fish and all the typical great southern sides you'd come to expect like: Hush Puppies Green Beans Candied Yams Cut Corn Cole Slaw Rice Mac N Cheese BBQ Beans Mashed Potatoes French Fries Collard Greens Corn On The Cob Okra Potato Salad So if you want to experience true southern cooking this is the place to be! And it's an all you can eat buffet and priced better than any other buffet around!
