Smokehouse — Restaurant in Columbia

We heard great things about this place so we decided to try it out. We ordered beef ribs and a large ribeye medium rare with fries and a "loaded" salad. The salad was great with delicious homemade ranch dressing. Then came the disaster!! The ribs came out looking like a feast, but we soon found what we thought was a mound of meat was a pile of bones with just a little meat on top of it. The sauce was very "fruity" flavored, and the small saucer of fries were an insult! The WELL-DONE ribye was paper thin and too salty to even eat! It was one of the most expensive unedible meals I have ever had! Thank goodness the server didn't care enough to ask how the meal was or to inquire why it wasn't eaten, or she would have gotten an earful!! We expected much better quality and service at $25 per plate!! No wonder we were one of only 2 tables seated during rush hour on a Saturday night!! Don't...
