I finally got the chance to check out Prime 10 Steakhouse for Mother’s Day, and it did not disappoint. I loved how user friendly their website was and making an online reservation was super easy. The atmosphere was really nice, and everyone—from the hostess to our server—was dressed professionally and very friendly. It had a classy feel without being too formal. We started with the appetizer special: prime rib bites with onions and mushrooms. The onions had the perfect little crunch, and the flavor was spot on. I also had the French onion soup, and it was honestly some of the best I’ve had. Not overly salty like at a lot of places. I really appreciated that the sides were fresh vegetables. Everything tasted homemade and well-prepared, not overly processed or drowned in seasoning. And the Blueberry Crumble Cheesecake? It tasted like something from an upscale bakery. Columbus has been needing a fine dining option like this, and I’m so glad Prime 10 made the investment into providing that.

French soup soup:?horrible The meat was tough. The sirloin was very salty, I think to hide its condition. I ate a few pieces, and the bath stayed with me all night. I think that after such an investment, it's worth having kitchen equipment capable of delivering the quality commensurate with such high prices. Let the owners think about that. It's true that soup spoons can't be dessert spoons.

This place is relatively new and because of that, it seems, they are experiencing some growing pains. We really liked it, overall, but there were some minor, attention to detail mistakes made, throughout the meal, that you just don't want to make when you are serving higher dollar/value meals. We will try again later this summer.

We were in Prime 10 for the first time. The hostess seated us. We sat for at least 12 minutes or more before my husband had to go to the bar to ask for service. The waitress was at the bar and apologized for not seeing us. She said the hostess usually notifies them when they have a new table. One waitress even looked directly at me, and never asked if we had been served. My husband made the comment to the waitress that we felt invisible. So for the rest of the night, the waitress was a little sarcastic about being invisible & said she would watch us like a hawk. Needless to say we were not watched like a hawk. Even the table next to us noticed the lack of service at our table as we started talking with them. Food was great although my baked potato was overdone. I did notice that as soon as big groups came in to 2 different tables, each of the waitresses were right there with water and to take drink orders. We had to ask for water. For the price of the food, the professionalism and service was not there. We did not leave our waitress with a very big tip because of her sarcasm and lack of service. Our policy is that if we have a bad experience the first time, we will give it one more chance. Hopefully the next time will be a better experience. If not, we will stick with Husker House...

I ordered the prime rib, medium rare with the house salad and Parmesan, mushroom risotto. The salad and risotto was excellent. The prime rib was medium well and equivalent to roast beef. I ordered the Vesper cocktail, shaken (could choose shaken or stirred per the menu). It was warm so obviously never touched an ice cube. My husband ordered the salmon with a house salad and asparagus. His salmon tasted “fishy”. We eat salmon a lot and even the Walmart frozen filets taste better. When the waitress took our salad plates she didn’t ask my husband, with an almost empty glass, if he would like another drink. She rushed off quickly so they lost out on that sale. We also saw that dirty glasses sat on the bar the entire time we ate. We noticed because our friends were at the bar and left before our food arrived but glasses were still there when we left. No excuse for dirty glasses sitting as they were not that busy. This is such a neat place aesthetically but work is needed on staff training and cooking the main entrees to...
