I usually never do reviews but today is the day! Okay so first off the food took way longer that it should have to get to me I was waiting for an extra 30 minutes ( after about 15 minutes already past the time the driver finally moved from the restaurant on the way to me)! I’m so lucky for working at a family members shop or that would have been my Lunch break down the drain! Secondly the peach cobbler was HORRIBLE never again and the container it came in was broken so instead of them to putting it in a new bag they put two bags around it and it still leaked through! Secondly the wing meal was disappointing I got LEMON PEPPER WINGS, my wings didn’t even have a pinch of LEMON! And the chicken was just sitting there in a puddle of oil basically! Thirdly the Mac and cheese BLAND, and super greasy as you can see they have a trend here of greasing up the food hoping to give people high cholesterol! Fourthly man oh man do not get me started on the YAMS it was HORRIBLE I don’t even have words I’m still in shock. Fifthly I asked for cornbread and I definitely got a piece of white bread which I wouldn’t have had a problem with it if it wasn’t SOAKED IN GREASE, I think they pour grease over the food when it’s done for a little pizazz it’s ridiculous! Lastly the only “decent” and I mean like bare minimum decent was the beans ( could you believe that all those items and only ONE actually tasted “good”). A waste of money!!! All in all as you can see this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with food in my 19 years of living! If I could give -5 stars I would but sadly I can’t so I hope this...

My first and last time here was horrible. I called in my order. When I got there I had to wait 20 mins for them to fix it. Then when I got home, the food was super salty. The fish was old and looked and tasted like it was from yesterday's Sunday rush by it being a Monday. Just looking at it I could tell the fish was left overs and was refried for a heat and crisp feel. The greens were salty. Mac n cheese was soggy and old as well. Very moistened as if milk was added to loosen the noodles up. It tasted like it was made on the stove and not the oven. I should have just cooked but to tired from working 16 hours at the hospital. I don't do fast food and so I thought this was my beat bet at the time. My son who is 7 said his chicken tasted sour. When I tried it, they were in fact super salty as were his fries. I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen that day. But she should NEVER re-use food from the day before to paying customers wanting fresh homemade soul food/ home cooking. It completely took the taste away that I was looking for. 25 bucks wasted in it's entirely. I'm sure her food may be good. Just not on a Monday after Sunday dinner. I just feel she didn't want the food go to waste and tried to doctor her left overs up and needed up selling me over cooked salty dinners. For that All be I will never go back here. Me and a friend came to support which we ordered from home(Worthington) was told 20mins so decided to leave out after 15mins as a chef I know it can take time to prepare, got to restaurant went in didn't know about drive thru was asked to pull around got to window waited for ten minutes for first order to be paid for and given then seven minutes for next order, before pulling out of lot checked my bag I ordered two meals was hungry and my one year eats, the fish dinner only had one piece of fish it was a little piece my friend started to eat her meal and said "friend these greens are sweet and salty" I responded "no way" GREENS ARE MY SON AND I FAVORITE ordered one in each dinner she also began to eat her mac&cheese which had oil or something liquidy in there she stated not enough cheese nor favor(she retuned mac&cheese) pulled back up to the window told the young lady what was wrong waited about eight minutes then she gave a refund for my fish dinner as far as the ribs I decided to keep cause we was hungry and my one year old was fussing in the backseat. Only ate the meat out of my meal tossed the sides away(I did taste the greens and bake beans) my friend did eat a little more of her sides. The next day we ALL including the baby was running off and stomach pain.
