Zacks Kitchen & Deli — Restaurant in Columbus

I decided to stop in and check this place out. Talking with Zack the owner, he said they had just recently reopened. This was another of the pandemic's victims. They were forced to close around February of last year. On to the positive points. They are part deli and part pizza shop. Zack stated that no meat or cheese is cut until they receive an order. You have to love it, that is totally "Old School ". On to the pizza, this good old fashioned neighborhood pizza. A nice thin crust, not super crispy. Has a nice sauce with the slightest spicy to it. Had a nice layer of cheese to it. The pepperoni was a nice medium cut thickness slices. This is your nice neighborhood pizza that you could eat all the time. Plus the price is right for what you are getting. Within the next week or so they will be debuting their own homemade cheesecake. Can't wait for that. Yummmy!!! The Pepperoni's are BEEf!!! NOT pork and it definitely makes a big difference and it's delicious, I'm a loyal customer of Zack's carry-out and I don't go to any other carry-out stores because they have awesome customer service and they do Not overprice items they also will order items you want if they don't have in stock. So I know Zack's kitchen and deli is equally awesome because it's a family owned and family ran business. Zack is all about customer satisfaction and the prices are decent as well, from the pizza to the gyro's everything we ordered was fresh,hot and made very well, also the pizza was Bigger than we expected so that was a plus! I tried their Monday special 1 topping medium pizza this week! Absolutely delicious!!! The pepperoni is of high quality and cooked just right to make them crispy. The sauce has a blend of spices that makes it stand out from other pizza shops!! The crust is a slight bit thicker than your normal thin Ohio pizza , it has a thicker yet light n fluffy texture . The pizza is even better the next day!! Definitely going back as my local place to go for pizza. I also had their Italian sub!!
