Mar's Kitchen — Restaurant in Comfort

Ok so it was late and the wife and I are heading home after a long day. I’m hungry so wifey looks up something on the way home and found this little gem. We both ordered the Super Taco 🌮… and what a taco it was. Brimming with veggie, beans , cheese , Pico , fajita meat. By fare one of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. We ordered to go but then decided to eat in … so as not to drop food in my truck. The lady brought us both bottled water for free when she saw we were staying. Was hoping for more. Dining area was really cold. Thermostat said 60 degrees. Service was ok. Just 2 of us and the young guy waiting on us brought 1 thing at a time. Coffee. Then Tea. Then Creamer. Then Sugar. Then One plate. Then the other plate. Just a little odd. Jelly for the toast was nasty. All of it was obviously expired. All flavors tasted bad. Had the Big Sexy Steak Strip plate which I doused in their salsa verde. The food was excellent and atomosphere was good. Service wasn't bad but I had to get up and ask for things once or twice. They were shutting down for the day so it's understandable as the waitress was probably busy. Daughters had the hamburger and fries which they likewise enjoyed.
