It will be a cold day in hell before we ever go there again. We've been there several times and liked it wonderful food. This time my son, daughter in-law, two grandson's, my one yr old granddaughter and myself went we were looking so forward to a wonderful breakfast for dinner. The staff were very rude except for the manager/owner. We walked in and one of the waitresses yells to us from the other end of the counter someone will be right with you. So we said ok thank you. We stand there finally a teenager comes to help us I guess you want a booth right. My son says yes please there's 5 and a baby. I have to go see if there's a booth available comes back and says it's going to be a while before we can get you a booth. My son says how long is a while. She says 20 minutes at the most. We sat down and booths empty and people that walked in after us three and four people in there party get seated. One couple and their children came in got seated ate and left before we got to a booth the 20 minutes at the most turned into 45 minutes. No one asked if maybe we wanted a cup of coffee while we waited, no one came to us and said I'm sorry it's taken so long nothing. One of the waitress looked like she was flying high. It wasn't until the manager/owner came out from outback and walked around the restaurant came back and asked the teenager how come we have not been seated. She walked around the restaurant again and come back and said table five and another table was open and she seated us. The waitress comes to our table asks if we would like something to drink we said coffee and chocolate milk please. She brings back chocolate milk and a soda who knows what kind because we didn't order soda. So I said sorry but we didn't order soda we ordered coffee please. Finally bring the coffee but we only had 4 creamers in our bowl. She comes take our order. Not to long after the cook call order up for our waitress were sitting right by the kitchen and can see food sitting on the counter three waitresses check it out yes one was our waitress tells the other two it's not mine but as we sit there waiting for our food to come out a long comes our waitress and picks up the plates and bring them to us after they've been there 10 minutes became we timed it. I told my daughter in-law and son if that's our food I'm saying something. So the waitress comes to our table with the plates of food sitting on the counter and I said to my daughter in-law are them the plates that were sitting on the counter that whole time. She said yes so I said to the waitress do you know who long that food has been sitting on the counter she says there still hot they've been under the heat . By this time we've been waiting for the food to be made a half hour. The soft scoop of margarine/butter didn't even melt on the pancakes, french toast and the toast from the toaster, the scrambled egg were cold, the bacon and sausage were very like warm. The ham and cheese omelettes the cheese on top of the omelettes were slightly warm. The home/pan Fry's were not warm at all. Needless to say we brought almost everything home and finished cooking and heating everything up. Never asked us if we wanted a high chair for my granddaughter. I had to ask for more coffee. So no I don't think đ we will be back. I should have taken pictures but I couldn't believe what...
Read moreI had a terrible experience here today. I went with my family (5 people) at around 1:30 on 9/2 and my family waited a 1/2 hour to be seated (no big deal). At the time there was no sign out front saying no outside food or drink. I had a hot Starbucks coffee that I had with me that I was drinking while we waited the 1/2 hour to be seated. When I sat down the waitress -Ashley- said VERY rudely âI have to either throw that away or you need to leave it in your car.â She was extremely rude the entire rest of the time and took FOREVER to give the rest of my family their drinks (the reason I had a coffee from earlier). Had she not been so rude I would have gotten something else to drink as well but I didnât get anything to drink after that. Not only did she never come back to our table to collect trash or refill waters/coffees when she did bring more waters and coffees (at my request) she left the empty cups on our already crowded table. Red arrow, I am severely disappointed. Your waitress is rude and incompetent and was trying to pull some kind of power trip over a Starbucks cup. It took her at least 15 minutes to bring the rest of the people at my table their drinks anyway after we waited a 1/2 hour to be seated AND another 45 minutes for our food. I left no tip and we will not be back. I also have a big mouth- so you can bet I will be telling everyone about this terrible experience.
I understand having policies about no outside food and drink, but that does not give the wait staff permission to be rude. What happened to customer service? Fill our drinks, apologize for the wait, take away empty cups on the table, and come back and check in how things are going at least once in the entire time we are there. I also shouldnât have to ask for maple syrup when the little girl with us gets pancakes.
Ashley either needs more training or...
Read moreThis one hurts and I'm being gracious due to the circumstances of my own day. First, I want to note that Red Arrow is one of my favorite restaurants. I fell in love with the place at the original location and hold it at the standard I grew up with. That said I was looking forward to the location with the reviews given... and I was disappointed. The chicken tender portion was small with little meat. The mashed potatoes (Although I know they are held and prepped ahead of time) were not up to their standard. On top of that, the gravy was inconsistent for my taste. I suggest making sure to stir it throughout the day. I will say the chippers were still up to snuff so there's that. However, more disappointment came my way when trying some of my wife's breakfast. The bacon tasted and possessed the consistency of microwaved bacon. Sad considering their usually process and recipe is of better quality at other locations. They also changed the pan fries recipe... replacing the method to have a rougher texture and way over seasoned it. This is compared to the smooth and lightly salty version which relaxes the taste buds. I suspect some short cuts are made in the kitchen for the food came out way too quickly. Our waitress, though very polite, was nowhere to be found after placing our orders and getting the food. On top of this, we weren't asked if we wanted dessert before receiving the check. This was a loss of sale for the business. An annoying feature in this one is the overcom system which asks for servers at the window which cuts off the music every two minutes. Hard to relax with this kind of noise. I would rate lower, but again, my own day possessed challenges, so I don't want to be too harsh. In general, this place needs to relook at the...
