My usual go to Chinese restaurant was closed. A friend told me this place had good food so we decided to go there. I now question their judgment. Although there are a few small tables this place is definitely more suited for takeout than dining in. The woman at the counter was very cold and unfriendly. The food was cooked very quickly however. We took the food home. The egg rolls were adequate. It went downhill from there. The hot and sour soup was neither. The crab rangoon was not crisp. The chicken lo mein was somewhat greasy although the noodles were a pleasant Al dente. I did have to search very hard to find any chicken in it however. Overall this is typical Americanized Chinese food with little flavor. If you're searching for authentic Chinese food there are far better options some very close. I was very surprised by some of the reviews that said this is authentic Chinese food. If they're experiencince in Chinese dining is limited to take out Chinese food from strip malls then that may be authentic to them. The online reviews seem to be hit or miss. I definitely hid it on a miss day. I will not be returning and I certainly will not miss it.

Guys I never do this but today we bought Chinese from Southern china, on 601 near la palma and we been buying there for years but how disgusting this is what we got. Yes rat poop. Don't eat there if you do check your food. I called and told him and he replied saying “oh ok I’m sorry” he wasn’t surprised at all… I asked for a refund we didn’t touch any of the food I was gonna take everything back all he said “no” I threw it all to the trash🤮

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at your restaurant. I ordered Hunan chicken, only to find a hair in it—a revolting discovery mid-meal. When I called to ask for a replacement, I was shocked by the rude response I received. The owner demanded I provide evidence of the hair, as if my word wasn’t enough, and insisted that without a photo, they wouldn’t remake my order. I had already disposed of the hair in disgust, so this ‘proof’ request was both unreasonable and insulting.

Even worse, I was told that if I wanted a replacement, I’d have to drive back today, despite my work schedule and the fact that I live over 20 minutes away. It’s not practical for me to drop everything just to accommodate such an inflexible demand, especially after being treated so rudely.

I have always appreciated this restaurant, but this experience—with both the hair in my food and the dismissive, rude response from the owner—has completely changed my opinion. This is not the level of customer service I expect, and I hope you take this seriously to prevent other customers from going through...

The food is great I will admit and the young lady that handled my order tonight was phenomenal but the owner or manager on duty tonight was full of greed. I have a procedure coming up and needed the chicken broth without the dumplings or anything thing else (just the plain broth) to assist with my clear liquid diet. The cashier who assisted me kept asking the owner or manger to lower the price because it’s just plain broth but he would not budge at all. He stood his ground on making me pay full price for just the broth, which is a shame because I have been purchasing from them for years. In the end I refused to pay full price for just broth and the sweet kind cashier placed the dumplings on the side as I eventually requested (only for me to have to discard later.) My advise to this establishment is to be loyal to your customers and not take them...
