The Johnstown Inn — Restaurant in Conemaugh Township

Ian or the Inn…Every Review is Important! Why? Because a server can make or break some of the business for a restaurant owner just like the food can! First, I will happily review the meal I ordered each time I ordered the same thing, yes, it is that “good”!! I “love” their baked fish and always order a salad. The fish is a deliciously tender, succulent white fillet baked in tangy lemon butter sauce! Their salads are the freshest I’ve had anywhere!! I can’t say I have had anything there that hasn’t topped a 5-star rating!! My other favorites are the phili-cheese steak with fries which was the first review I did for the Inn 5 years ago. I also love their cheeseburgers and their seafood pizza!! And, the last time I looked, the views were over 315K the highest of any of my reviews to date! The Johnstown Inn IS “Simply the Best”!! Now, when it comes to servers, I’ve had some that kept me from ever returning to a restaurant again, even after complaining to the manager. Did I do a review? No, why? They’re doing their own review every day they open their door for business! They don’t need any additional help! I don’t eat out often anymore, it’s easier to order takeout but I decided a review needed to be done on this server. And when I think back to the young lady standing at the door inside greeting people and seating them, when I learn her name, I will add it here. She too just like Ian is a 5-star! They both greet you with a beautiful smile and enthusiasm. They are happy people to be around! This is a great place to get a group of friends together after work, grab some dinner, and enjoy a night full of music or watch that playoff game and cheer on your favorite team! The food is reasonably priced and is some of the best in the area. As far as drinks are concerned, they have a variety of drafts to choose from. The staff has always been very welcoming and pleasant. The only negatives about this place are it's popularity with locals and travellers alike and the parking lot which can become a bit of a cluster during peak hours. Who am I kidding??? This place is a great way to spend an evening amongst friends/family/coworkers. I highly recommend...

Stopped in for dinner and the food was good. We had pizza and wings, the pizza was pretty tasty, however I don't like their wings too much only because sometimes it seems they aren't cooked long enough, they end up being rubbery/spongy. I like a wing with a little crispier texture (purely personal preference). The beer was nice and cold, always a plus. The establishment was clean and the servers are great! Our server was "Mary" and she was phenomenal. Even though she had several tables to take care of as they started getting busier, she was amazing and provided quick and friendly service each time we needed something. Great...
