We found this place by looking for all you can eat fried shrimp for our 11 year anniversary. We came across this place, it wasn’t clear online when they have the all you can eat, so we called first. She said they do it daily for $16.95 and we were sold! We drove an hour. Turns out we’ve drove by this place many times going to and leaving pine island and never decided to stop- which I found odd since we love fried shrimp. Well that’s because they don’t have it advertised outside at all. When we pulled up, we couldn’t find the entrance as it wasn’t properly marked and that was frustrating, once we opened the possible entrance, it looks like a lot of fun and a great view. We couldn’t sit outside though as the music was so loud that you could feel it in your gains and couldn’t hear a thing. We wee out in this little seating area inside that was actually quite nice. Our waiter was very understanding that we didn’t want to sit out there. We ordered the all you can eat shrimp which isn’t posted anywhere inside the restaurant either- so odd. He tells us we can get fried or steamed, I said like a crab boil steamed? He said yeah kinda they have this seasoned butter. So we got one fried and one seasoned. We asked if we could sub onion rings for the fries on one of the orders, he said yes but for $1.95 so we agreed thinking we would be able to get refills of the sides like cedar River does (cuz sides are cheaper) When the shrimp came out the steamed were just warmed cocktail shrimp, but the butter was good. They were so wet that they made half of the onion rings soggy. We didn’t think anything of it until he told us he couldn’t give us refills even though we paid for what we thought was all you can eat. Our drinks weren’t refilled in a timely order either. I’m honestly sad, as I had hoped for better from this place, it truly has a lot of potential. Each drink was $4.25 and we were lucky to even get one refill of soda. And come to find out, we paid the 1.95 for the onion rings and the meals themselves were $18.95 and not $16.95 as told over the phone. Honestly truly bummed we went here, and bummed that it has such good potential- but it seems they focus heavily on the people buying alcohol over the food. It’s in such a great spot and they really could have something cool if the management would notice little things like the lack of signage. 2 people ate for $58.00….. the fried shrimp were better than the steamed, but both could have used...

This was our second time to eat at the restaurant. Both times we each had a margarita, it was buy one get one. My husband ordered the fried seafood platter that comes with cod, shrimp, scallops and frog legs. I had the platter that's baked. It comes with a cod fillet over seafood stuffing and topped with bacon and hollandaise sauce. My husband said he liked mine better. The platters come with a side. My husband had a baked potato. It comes with butter and sour cream. I chose the steamed vegetables which include broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. I think each platter was around $18-$19. Our first time there we both had the blackened grouper entree which also includes a side. They charge market price for the grouper so the price changes. I do not remember what we paid a couple of months ago. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a bar in both places. We sat outdoors both times. The outdoor is mostly covered with a few tables along the water that have umbrellas you can use for some shade. There are 2 birds that hang around on the outside deck watching people eat and wanting a hand out lol. The big white one is called Charlie and the smaller black one is Gus. Don't leave your table with food on it cause they both take that as a sign to grab that hand out lol. They have a bunch of huge mullet that wait for people to throw fish food. You can buy a small handful of food from the machine for a quarter. And there's even an alligator that hangs out in the water. The employees are nice, friendly and make sure you're happy. It's laid back so don't go if...

We visited the Bayport Inn in April 2025. It was a nice meal on the rear covered deck. It was a warm day (85-90 degrees), but the shade and nice breeze kept it quite comfortable. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. And like most places, the prices are subject to peoples opinions. I found most of the prices to be somewhat reasonable. With good sized portions on most of our meals. Although it thought the price of my fairly small draft beer in a plastic cup, was fairly expensive. Not drastically so, but a felt a little overpriced compared to many other establishments we have visited serving the save type/brand’s draft beer. I had wings, that were pretty good. I myself, chose an order of 10 wings. With a price of approximately $16 for 10 wings. But at the Bayport Inn, Their wings do not come with ranch or blue cheese dressing. That had an additional charge for me. Maybe it is just me, but I found that to be a nickel and dime situation. To be fair to the Baypost inn, I would have enjoyed them without blue cheese. But most people enjoy the dressing for their wings. And this is one of the very few places that I can remember, that charged extra for blue cheese with your wings. Other than the nickel and dime add ons. We found the Bayport inn to be a nice and enjoyable dining experience. Its positives outweigh the few negatives. So anyway, I feel the Bayport inn is worth the visit. I can see us visiting again, sometime...

If I could give MOE and this staff 10 stars I would! This was Not a normal dining experience, I've never been to a restaurant with such a genuinely warm staff (Katie, Ariel, and several others that I didn't even get their names) I called ahead to see if there would be a long wait time before we could get a table, as I had a couple of friends who are going to come up and meet us to surprise my wife as it was her birthday. Luckily Moe answered the phone, and she took down my name and set up a special table So everything was already perfect by the time we arrived. Trying to keep from spoiling the surprise, my wife wanted to go sit outside and listen to the live music that we could hear from inside. Which I had that too when I was our friends arrived 20 minutes later Moe had both of them set at our birthday party table she had decorated. Excited about it convince my wife to bring us to the birthday table without giving anything away. In the fastest thing click on your feet low stepped over to our table and said that the gift shop would be closing in 10 minutes but they would keep it open for us especially that way my wife was convinced I really did want to show her the gift shop worked out perfectly she was phenomenal!
