From a very picky eater, Extremely pleasant experience in everyway! My granddaughter had the kids burger with tots, Husband had the mushroom swiss burger with battered fries, and I had the Walleye shore lunch with battered fries. First of all this place was very clean, bathrooms to everywhere. Our server Michael was very welcoming and had great suggestions. The food was tasty and not greasy, which is hard to find. The service was fast and friendly. We were checked on many times throughout our meal. All the other customer's commented how good the food was. There are food specials daily and monthly food and drink specials as well. This place was far beyond a five star! We honestly can't wait to come back again and bring our family and friends! My girlfriend and I love to come here because it is much closer than going to Brainerd, the prices are good and the food is excellent. They really nail the little things that make the difference between a good meal and a great meal, service is always top notch. If you've had one ceasar salad you probably feel like you've had them all but over at Bites they do theirs better than most anywhere else I go. There are a lot of creative items on the menu and everything from large, hearty, football player worthy dinners to sandwich plates that are just right for lunchtime. I used to work there. Most of the food was awesome and I met great people there either working with or serving them food. I gave 1 star due to the fact there were a few reasons but main reason was that I liked to serve my food to my customers myself not have the bartender that has no idea serve. And then if someone didn't get their substitute or whatever it was frowned upon. Waitress work for tips and being done in an unprofessional way reduces the chance of getting a good tips. The owner Wendy yelled at me in front of coworkers, patrons and got in my personal space polking her finger into my shoulder.
