Lake Martin Pizza Co. — Restaurant in Contiguous United States

Placed my pizza order for a Full Monte at 7:26. Checked on it at 8:31 and it was just being prepared. Hadn't even started building the pizza. 2 guys in front of me got their order after waiting for hour and a half. No apologies. Couldnt have cared less when I canceled my order. I told the "owner" if she had told me it was going to be that long when I ordered that I would not have placed an order. Always has been a good pizza...but I can't recommend this business to anyone. Service sucks!

VERY NEXT DAY...Oct. 11, 2025. Like I said...I like their pizza so I figured that I would place an order by phone and try to get an approximate time that the pizza would be ready for pick up. I called at 5:34 . Lady answered...I ordered the exact pizza that I didn't get last night...14" Full Monte... sauce only on one side...the same pizza that I have ordered for the last four times that I did get my order. Iwas told that they couldn't do that...sauce only on one side...because they had gotten in trouble for doing that. What...pizza police! What happened in the last 24 hours! I dont know but I doubt seriously that they will make it here with this kind of service.These people are nuts and do not have the sense to operate a food establishment. I will drive 50 miles for pizza rather than deal with this...

Tonight I ordered my pizza by phone at 6:34 pm. I was told it would be 40-45 minutes for pickup. No problem . I am a little bit of a drive to the Blue Creek location so we left out for the drive taking our time. I arrived at 7:04 pm and we sat in the car until around 7:14 pm at which time I went in and the girl at the register said it would be another 15 minutes. I paid for our pizza (my first mistake and included a tip). I went back to my SUV and waited until 7:35 pm and went back in. She said it was about to come out so I went to end of the counter to wait. The guy cutting and boxing asked my name and I told him. He looked like a “deer in headlights”. I knew immediately something was wrong. He began looking for a ticket. The lady helping him went to the front to ask and came back and told me that my pizza had not been made and it would be another 8-10 minutes!! All this not to mention it’s only about 110 degrees inside this place! After waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes to have the pizza in my hands, I actually got home at 8:30 pm to eat…😡. LAST TRIP TO LAKE MARTIN PIZZA…wish I could...

Me and my wife argued over whether to be two or three stars, I was feeling more generous. One of my pizzas barely had any cheese on it. Took it home and added a bunch of cheese threw it in the oven warmed it back up it was good. Good crust nice sauce flavor, decent pie. We sat out in the bar the only seating area and listen to the band who were great. The bartenders were very nice and the drinks although not cheap were not outlandishly priced and they were decent cocktails. The other issue was they told us it would be a little over an hour wait and it took over an hour 40. It was a holiday weekend and they were clearly busy but they should figure out some way to make their pizzas really good if they're going to make you wait. Would definitely give it another try but they definitely didn't win me over on the first round. One other issue was that the kitchen crew seemed a little lackadaisical and we're kind of just goofing around with everyone in a manner that made it feel like after waiting an hour and 40 minutes for a pizza they didn't have...
