Mad River Burger Bar — Restaurant in Contiguous United States

I love this place!! I love their burgers, but I especially love their milkshakes! They have vanilla and chocolate, but I definitely like the chocolate milkshakes better. The vanilla don't have as much flavor, but they are still very good and refreshing. I normally get the Mad River burger, which I think is the 1/4 pound burger (maybe not, I can't quite remember), but this last time, I wasn't very hungry, so I got the next size lower, which I think was the 1/5 pound burger. I could be making these sizes too small, and they might be the 1/3 and 1/4 burgers, but I think my original sizes might be more accurate. However, the waiting time here is normally a little long to order and get your food. Overall, this is a great place to stop and eat on a trip, if you also want to take a bathroom break too. It's 5 stars based off of what I know so far. It could change. I love getting biscuits and gravy here. It's very good and it's served all day! The patties are frozen but they use high quality patties. Maybe they even use fresh when they got it, I'm not totally sure about that yet but I have seen them pull out frozen patties. And for the people who only reviewed the bathrooms- Did you come there to eat or just use their bathroom without buying anything? Didn't come here to review bathrooms because I don't need to use their bathroom. Wonderful local flavor and a beautiful drive through the mountains. We were hungry and came across Mad River Burger Bar totally randomly. How lucky for us!! Huge burgers and I made the mistake of ordering a large fry. The medium was bigger than I expected large to be. I recommend sharing a large fry with two or more people!
