Slidsters Tap House — Restaurant in Navarre

I first tried this restaurant in early May & had the fried mushrooms & fried okra. Both were done to perfection! Then I tried their Cat 5 potato & was absolutely hooked! I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner & his family! They are such a fun family & I prayed their business would do well in our area! Fast forward to today, I was back in town & craving their Cat 5 potato! I stopped in & met Karen, the waitress & her husband Tony, the chef. They were both so kind & patient with giving me all the updates & successes of this awesome place! They highly suggested the Mushroom Swiss Burger & Spicy Peach Wings. That was the best burger I have ever had! For the wings...I am not a peach person usually, but this sauce...I NEED bottled & in my kitchen! Of course, I also enjoyed the Cat 5 potato (I prefer my toppings on the side to dip in) & brought one over to my Dad's man cave to savor. Needless to say, this place is AMAZING! Just tried Slidsters Tap House during their soft opening on Mar. 16, 2025. The owners, chef, and staff were very nice and welcoming.

They had about a dozen beers on tap, with the glasses that fill from the bottom. Very interesting, and aerated the beer perfectly.

The food was fantastic! I had the Philly cheesesteak panini - it was huge and maybe the best Philly I’ve ever had. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger, that was also outstanding. Others in our party had the Buffalo drumsticks. Huge chicken legs about half the size of turkey legs. All of the meals came with fried potatoes that were first spiral cut, and then lightly fried - delicious!

I stopped into Slidsters Tap House while running errands after recently noticing it, and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles, and that positive energy set the tone for the entire meal. The staff was incredibly helpful, attentive, and made sure I had a great dining experience. I also had my daughter with me, and they were so sweet and mindful of her, which meant a lot.

I ordered the cheesesteak, and while it wasn’t on the traditional roll, the panini-style version was a delicious mess—I couldn’t eat it fast enough! I’m thrilled to see a new locally driven business in the area and truly wish the best for the staff and the success of Slidsters.
