I've tried to patronize here a couple times. I'm African American. The employees are rude, if you they think don't speak English. We walked in to order and the waitress rolled her eyes because we didn't know what we wanted as soon as we walked. There are literally three paces from the front door, to the place you order. My son was standing at the register and someone walked up behind him reached over his head like he was invisible, handing the cashier his receipt to pay. We were at the register to paying! The server walked up to my son, mumbled a name as she pushed a bag into his hand. He was confused and took the bag. He gave it back to her and she said I said your name and made a huge smirk. He is 17 in college because he graduated early. She didn't take a name for our order???? I'd rather support small businesses but I'll continue to buy tacos from Grocery Los Hermanos for tacos. They are always friendly. I will add that the butcher there was very pleasant and I didn't want anything both times. He was very sweet, smiled and asked if I needed help 😊. I won't be back. Do better! I was going to ask for a refund, my son was hungry and we had a doctor's appointment to go to. Never again. We are...
Read moreGoing into this establishment I didnt hace high hopes as it looks like a gas station. Well it pretty much is. Its a little minimark as well. I got the steak burrito and it was packed full. I didnt care for the steak as it tasted to me like hamburger meat. My daughter had the chicken tacos and they were alright. She didnt care for the texture of the tortilla. My son got the steak quesadilla and he didnt care for it bc it tasted like hamburger to him as well. My husband got the tostada ( barbacoa)and 2 tacos ( carnitas and steak) he didn't finish them either. As I believe this is an authentic Mexican restaurant and we as Caucasian Americans we must be use to Tex Mex. I wasnt very pleased with our meal but with the prices being as great as they were I wasnt sad about giving this place a go. It just wasnt for me. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. The queso was pretty good and the chips were authentic which I enjoyed. You go to the fridge and pick out whatever you want to drink which was cool and cheaper than any other place. They made my youngest a kid cheese quesadilla and she ate the whole thing. I'll probably never go back there again but it wasnt horrible just wasnt good for...
Read moreLas Cazuelas is a small store that sells groceries and serves prepared authentic Mexican food. I enjoyed their food back in 2017 and have yet to order again. I've gone grocery shopping there during the pandemic crisis. If you want to shop in person and want to avoid the crowds, I recommend coming here if you need some essentials.
The store is less chaotic and not crowded. If you're looking for something specific, I recommend calling. The cashier speaks English and I am satisfied with the customer service there the 2 times I went this year.
Can't recall everything in the store, but hope the below helps.
Produce- red/white onions, green onions, bell peppers, carrots, and limes.
Dairy: cotija cheeses--not familiar with the dairy products but there is a selection next to their produce.
Dry goods: jasmine rice, beans, instant coffee, split peas, canned vegetables/tomato, tortillas, powdered seasonings, hibiscus tea
Cleaning/Laundry supplies: Fabuloso brand; dish soaps, cleaning sprays. Not familiar with the brands except Fabuloso
I recommend checking the expiration dates before...
