76 Diner Coopersville — Restaurant in Coopersville

They just opened to the public last week, so they have some kinks to work out. Once they do I'll update my review to 5 stars. :)

The food takes a while time to come out once you order, and the two times we've been there so far the temperature of the food has been off, like it's been sitting for a while. Yesterday in my skillet that should have had scrambled eggs, redskin potatoes, sausage, and cheese I found pieces of ham, bacon, and onion. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and the onions in it were raw (this can be hard to get right at just about any restaurant, though). 4/5 stars for food.

Both times we went our server hardly checked on us. Yesterday we actually weren't checked on at all. Luckily we were able to flag our server down to get a to-go box. I don't mind being "left alone" when I'm a regular somewhere, but when a place just opens and they need feedback, it's a little disappointing. 4/5 stars for service.

I gave the atmosphere 3/5 stars because it does get extremely loud in there, which can be very overstimulating and hard to have a conversation with your table. My understanding is this is going to be worked on by adding more wall art to absorb sound, so hopefully this is a work...

Been here MANY times being an OTR truck driver and had many good experiences here; However, today I ordered the Liver and Onions (which I order quite frequently when I'm here) and it was damn near raw. It comes with 2 pieces, the first one was perfect, the 2nd one was barely cooked (even the waitress said that it was almost raw), so I sent it back... the waitress came back and said the "manager" said we serve all of our liver medium rare.... well that would be fine if that were the case.... but it was almost RAW. The waitress again agreed with me and said she was going to adjust the bill, she came back 5 min later and said the manager wouldn't let her and she was very apologetic. I have NO problem paying for something I order, but this was absolutely disgusting. Sad to say I don't think I'll be stopping at this location any time soon. Very disappointing. We ordered to-go & went to pick it up...Coopersville to-go isn't on-line yet! Shiree the operations manager was so good, she put our dinner order in immediately & it would be ready in 25 min & the place was packed! In 20 min our dinners of pork steak, mashed potatoes & gravy, & grilled asparagus and chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes & gravy & grilled asparaguswere ready! Thank you to the Chef & Shiree! My husband's pork steak was tender, & mashed potatoes& gravy were flavorful, grilled asparagus was delicious. My chicken fried steak was so big 2 people could have enjoyed it! Not only was it a huge portion but it was the best I've ever had, so flavorful, tender, yet crispy, just delicious! The gravy & mashed potatoes were perfect compliments to the steak & the grilled asparagus went perfect! We will be back again but we'll wait til the to-go...
