First time visiting. We decided to try the chicken tenders and fry’s. Fries were cooked perfectly and properly salted. The tenders are thin and I’m assuming can be cooked quickly but they do need less time in the fryer. These were a bit dry and firm (over cooked) but had a good flavor. The order is almost good for one, so after splitting we ordered the popcorn chicken and we liked them better. Although it felt like they came from the bottom of the bag with a bunch of the pea size pieces. The menu is online from a QR code. The other items on the menu look good as well as does the breakfast menu. We’ll come back and try a few more things. The orders came quickly and the tap beer (Bluemoon) was good. Friendly waitress and checked on us regularly. Plastic cups, utensils and paper plates. This is one of those places that could take it up a notch and keep the homey feel, price low and just be better. I have to assume that with all the volleyball courts the place has the type of table ware so it can just be taken and thrown away. As I said, we’ll come back and try a few more things just to make sure if we want this place will be in our frequent...
Read moreI recently dined at Mama G’s in Maple Grove, and I felt compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, it was far from the enjoyable outing I had hoped for.

Furthermore, I had a personal encounter with the owner, Greg Olsen. His demeanor came off as arrogant, which added to the overall negative vibe of the establishment. It’s hard to understand how someone with such a lack of respect for patrons can succeed in the hospitality industry.
Given my experience, I cannot recommend Mama G’s. There are plenty of other places in the area that prioritize customer service and offer a...
Read moreI went there for the first time on the last day of April. It was advertised that they had a poker game, but found out that was only during the winter months. Should have called first instead of driving 20 miles.
Ordered a burger which was really good. No fries thought, choice of chips. Had a bottle of beer which was a little spendy. Female bartender was really nice but there were alot of regulars there so she kept busy. Alot of people playing outside volleyball and drinking. Alot of activites both in and out of the bar too do. Also numerous tv's to watch sports.
Alot of the chairs were in pretty rough shape and the floors were terrible especially the carpet.
Huge Parking lot with alot of parking! Always a plus! At a good intersection to....
