10+ years of eating tenders, as a Cornelius local, anytime there is a discrepancy with my order it is handled in the most professional upstanding matter by the younger staff, Theyâll check my ticket theyâll see if there was a mistake made and if so, they will correct it or inform me that the order may have been put in wrong and typically because Iâm well known and give a lot of business to tenders as a courtesy. They correct the mistake either way.
Today I was in shock when my order was brought to me By one of the older service membersâŚ.. and I addressed that there had to have been a mistake with my milkshake, Instead, checking the ticket to see if there was a mistake, I was just told that I made a mistake and ordered IncorrectlyâŚ. With an attitude. Although I input my order verbally, and the staff is what puts it into the computer. So I donât know how I couldâve made this mistake. Instead of offering to look into it, she hands me my meal, and I drive off, Disappointed with the The customer service I just received, That is nothing like the customer service when pull up to every single time I come to this establishment.
After checking my ticket, I find out the entire order is wrong, The food thatâs in the bag is not even whatâs on the receipt.
Tenders and PDQ family, My heart hurts to know that PDQ is gone now, but please do Better to your longtime customers and veterans. The younger generation is leading a better example in customer service.
Kudos to all of the younger generation that is working in tenders today because yâall are why I come back, And will continue...

People Dedicated to Quality I literally was not greeted as I stood at the podium, looking at the menu, waiting for someone to ask me for my order then two Caucasian women comes in, and the same lady who was standing in behind the counter address down with a big smile. How may I help you? I said âwow I must be invisibleâ out loud! The older lady behind the podium looked at me still nothing and put her head down. This is awful Nick Reader and sad that 2024 people still donât realize what their actions may cause Iâm not saying racism, but I was the only brown person in there besides the guy with the red shirt and he sure didnât say not one word to correct the situation. Family restaurant? No, I donât feel that. I donât even know how to take this. , but in my same breath I have to teach my children how to respond to such mess! My dear readers at the end of the day your skin color will never change, but ignorance always shows itself today I was treated unfair saddened and gladly left out of there, because this is my money as a consumer and I have the choice, whether or not to spend patronize. I sat in my car and contemplated on if I was going to leave a review because me, Iâm not the only person that happened to, but somebody has to open their eyes to see so that your next paying customer wonât be shined away. I will be emailing...
Read moreThis is the first store in the chain, it does not look like any PDQ I had ever seen before. It resembles more of a country restaurant than a chicken fast food joint. Everything was spotlessly clean inside.
They donât have a traditional drive-through! Instead, they have drive ups. I pulled into a parking spot with the menu board and umbrella. A young lady quickly came out with an order pad and took my order, and my payment as well.
The food came out quite quick and I was on my way. Less than a mile later I realized that part of my order was incomplete. I turned around and went back. The young lady was taking another order stopped, waved at me and said âWe forgot your zucchini fries!â She ran inside came back out and then offered me a free shake to compensate for my troubles. I went ahead and got the chocolate one, my favorite. She brought it out quickly.
By the time I arrived home, I was surprised that most of the food was still warm (not the shake, that went straight to the freezer). All the food was absolutely delicious. The chicken tenders were moist and yes, tender. The zucchini fries were so good, as was the Parmesan broccoli. I had the Buffy blue sauce and ranch, and both were as great as I remember.
I highly recommend Tenders PDQ for the delicious food and the honesty of...
