Dewey's Beer Garden — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

Lots of TVs for whatever game you want to watch, bathrooms were immaculate. Outside: Big back porch, 2 outdoor jenga sets, picnic tables, small covered area, 2 volleyball courts (1 sand, 1 grass), disc golf basket. Pool table inside.

Only 3 beers on tap, and although they have a large selection of bottles in the cooler, many of my companions told me their beer was a bit skunked despite being within code, suggesting that it had been stored outside.

Full bar, but IDK why this place was listed as a "grill"... They do NOT have a functioning kitchen.

Our group brought food in. There are a decent number of seating areas, however, there needs to be a little bit of more portable furniture for group events, or tell groups to bring folding chairs, tables, etc, because the areas with electricity are not near the seating, and people gravitate...

Went when it was the fajita cook off and was busy there. It's the only time it gets busy. I got 2 beers and was charged more. I asked the guy getting our beers how much each one was. So I got my calculator and added it up which is easy to figure out since no tax. I showed him and he still said it was a dollar more than the price I showed him. Also got charged another dollar for using my card. I won't go there to buy beer. Just only when they have the fajita cook off. Oh and the owner is so tight. We were not allowed to bring and waters to drink while we were out there grilling. It was a little hot. I finllat got thirsty I went to go buy bottle waters at the bar since we weren't allowed to bring anything to drink. Beer I understand we can't bring in casue they need to make money. But really? I couldn't bring water to keep...

Love this place! "The Outsiders" - Bike Family picked Dewey's to meet up and enjoy a Thursday bike (motorcycle) night. The staff was welcoming and showed that they appreciated us being there. They have a bustling atmosphere with a well-stocked full bar and a great variety of beers. Although they don't serve food, we were able to order in some great pizza. There was plenty of room outside for our gathering, with tables and outdoor games. The parking lot accommodated our motorcycles and other vehicles. Dewey's is a fun place to be. The service is excellent. The prices are great. They appreciate our business and we will continue to...
