Honestly it was wrapp for me when I got the cheese dip...Tried to save it for the next day and it was basically water based when I opened it. I ate there chicken quesadilla and got sick 45 minutes after which means there's some sort of cross contamination going on here. Then the cherry topper was to charge me 54 cents for a fork and a spoon (plastic). Never have I ever been charged for one set of utensils! There food is over rated and up charged for nothing! They probably survive off of starving people from the motel. They definitely should have kept there prices the same because it is not worth the buy. I payed 24$ for 2 taco plates and a drink. I'm curious if I was charged gratuity since it was a Togo order. This is a very stingy location and it reeks! Like , I get that they probably deal with a bunch of run off motel drags but that doesn't meen you treat your customers like they aren't the one paying for your restaurant to keep standing..54 cents! That was like telling me you don't want us back! We weren't problematic what so ever and carried our problems out the door. The waitress is bare minimum. They only give you half a sauce bowl of salsa... or maybe it was just us. The first time eating there I was given a small spoon full of salsa in a tiny bowl. Like wth am I supposed to do with that. I was genuinely confused and hated I had to ask for more when it was time to go. No customer should have to feel that way. We've been in there 4 times and I didn't feel good either of those times... so I think its a...
Read moreWalked in with all my kids and I, place was not even busy, didn’t get service till I had to get up and ask someone to take our order, order cheese dip for chips was cold sent back to get warmed up came back and it was watery than before didn’t even look like dip anymore, I had got the Mexican plate that was on special that was cold minus the charro beans had to get that sent back to reheat but even when they brought it back it was still cold, I forced my self to eat one enchilada that was not so tasty, my daughter didn’t even finish her taco de Adams because it was cold also. I told my waitress if she can take off my plate since it was not touched just minus one enchilada, first they did but than she got the manager he was rude about the situation and charged me for the one enchilada did I did eat but felt that was not even necessary when the food was cold, bad service . My change back was $1.69 now tried giving it to me I was like keep it that’s what this food and service was worth. I’m never one to be ugly but when I get the chance to go out and take my kids out to eat I expect the food to be good and service. And to top it off one of the waitresses just kept giving me the ugly look, I’m just assuming because I was alone with 6kids because she kept shaking her head. I wouldn’t recommend this place to family...
Read moreY’all…. if you’re considering coming here- DO IT! We were in town for 2 days in late April and this was the last meal we had before we took off. I live in LA and I think about the food here at LEAST once a week. It was delicious, affordable, and the service was great! Everyone that worked there had a smile on their face, and all the customers in there did too. It was packed when we got there, but we never felt that our waitress was too busy to check in on us. It was actually the most pleasant experience I had in Corpus. I have family in San Antonio and might have to make sure to make enough time to drive down here whenever I visit them from here on out. Best Tex-Mex I’ve ever had in my life. Thank you guys for such a great experience. I truly haven’t stopped thinking about it and had to leave a review! Also, spent a little over $30 for 2 adults, including a huge michelada. Great value for great food (and a...
