Country Market Deli & Young's Kitchen (Korean Cuisine) — Restaurant in Corvallis

Liar owned and operated... Ordered a bowl of rice, vegetables and meat that was supposed to have a fried egg sunny-side up (the egg was the whole reason I bought this meal). but they over cooked the egg. It was very dry and disgusting. I called and talked to a guy who told me to come back when it wasn't so busy to get my money back. When I went back to talk to him about it, the guy said that he has to talk to the boss so he stepped to the back and then came back up to the front and then asked if I would like to have the egg remade. Mind you, this is like an hour later because they were so busy I couldn't even get in. (Terrible parking lot) I didn't want to have an egg just randomly cooked a couple hours after my meal so I said no and said that I called as soon as I had received my meal and the guy told me to come down to get my money back. Then this guy says he owns the place after he said he had to go talk to the boss so he lied to me. That in itself gets him a one-star. To lie and say you have to go talk to the boss and then turn around and say you own the place, bad business practice. Anyway, since I had to go home and fry myself up an egg before the food went cold, I think that it was pointless for me to pay to have food cooked and then have to go...

I was on my way to work and figured I would stop by and pick up a couple things. The owner was putting food away in the hot food holder. He look at me when I first walked in. That was the only recognition I got. I stood at their counter for almost 5 minutes. Not a word, nothing. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever. It’s a shame that people who came from another country to make a better life for themselves would treat people like this. I just hope that nobody else is spending their hard earned money at this place , just...

This is a miserable place. The term "deli" implies that they have sandwiches or some sort of fresh food. They have no fresh food, and the only sandwiches available are pre-packaged in the refrigerator and look like they've been there for days. Not only that, they don't allow customers to use the restroom. And the icing on the cake, they charged my card twice and don't answer their phone. I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company. Do yourself a favor. Steer clear...
