I want to preface this review by acknowledging the ownerâs lack customer service, and poor ability to take constructive criticism. If you look into his other reviews, it doesnât take long to notice how sensitive and fragile he is when it comes to people reporting their bad experiences. He seems to put more effort into shaming and rebutting those customers than actually addressing the severe deficits of his sub par products and service. If someone is critical of their experience on the Facebook page, they are blocked. This review wonât be blocked or removed, so good luck. Now, on to my review.
My family and I (there are 4 of us) have dined in at this establishment 3 times over the past 7 months, and hoped that our experience would have improved with each passing visit. It didnât. In fact, it only got worse. The staff were rude and dismissive, the wait times were insane considering what we ordered (always a couple salads and 1-2 large pizzas). We didnât order any of the ridiculous pizza with peanut butter or pickles on it. We got usually cheese, pepperoni, or sausage, and one deluxe. EVERY SINGLE TIME something wasnât just wrong, but outright terrible to the point of being inedible. Once a salad was full of brownish lettuce (it was replaced with a slightly less brown one). The second time the pepperoni pizza was raw in the middle, and replaced with one slightly less raw. The third and final time, the cheese and meat both tased stale, and our waitress seemed very bothered by our complaints, so we decided to go with the 3 strike rule. Roscoeâs Pizza, youâre out!
Lastly, I want to say that itâs delusional and embarrassing for you to say things like this:
âMy pizzas are made to be comparable to other fine establisments such as Cassanos, Marion's, Joe's and my personal favorite,Rons.â
Iâm a local. Iâm an almost 40 year old fat guy. I know pizza. I know all of the businesses listed above, and they would all have second hand embarrassment to hear you say this to their face. Stop crying about people who eventually get fed up enough with your products and services to the point they complain about it, and fix it.
P.S. All the âBoss Sauceâ in the world canât mask how bad your pizza tastes, regardless how much you...
Read moreAs the Pizza Pirate you meet some interesting people all the time. Had the great honor of meeting the owner of Roscoe's Pizza - Corwin, Ohio Jeff! What a great guy!! Tremendous family! Just over the top nice! They just want to serve a great product to hungry people Took home some pies and hereâs my review! Boulder - Absolutely delicious! Great mouth feel & those flavors POP!! Very cheesy with a nice zing to it!! Add bacon? Pizza heaven! Cluk-Oli - No mere side dish here! This IS the main event! This is the taste youâll want to tell your friends about! If chicken Alfredo was a pizza this was itâs better more successful sibling, the one mom actually loves! Pierogi Pie - Really good but itâs missing something⊠maybe a garlic dipping sauce. You can definitely taste the mashed potato. Interesting for sure! The Tuber - great if you ate something very hot at first! Mashed potato & sour cream only in pizza form!! Nothing over the top but very tasty! The Port William Peño Pickle - particularly pleasing! Potent & pleasant. Particularly the panache of pickle punches well above its weight! This is bringing the blue haired gauged eared girl home from prom!! Not your every day pie but for those who want to step on their wild side this is IT!!! Iâve also had the Lazanya - Complete baller in my opinion! Was everything pizza and pasta ever wanted to be! Everything - They donât just bring the kitchen sink they built an entire apartment complex out of this one!! All the ingredients are perfection on pie! Just delicious!! Thanks to Jeff and his family for their generosity & commitment to pizza perfection! With 103 options for pizza (probably a Guinness world record) there is no way youâre not going to find something for everyone!! Pizza pirate approved & I would highly recommend going to see them...
Read moreHi, I read a review of this establishment "s BBQ Grippo pizza in 614 Now and considering my brother and I are self-acclaimed food junkies, we had to come and try some of their pizza. I will start by saying that after glancing at their online menu, I soon realized they offer over 70 kinds of pizza combinations (yes, 70 +) with all kinds of topping combinations and flavors. You've got to check it out for yourself. For the sake of time, I will mention two of the four we tried, which included lasagna and pierogi. I plan to try Crab Rangoon and Jalepeno Popper next time, as well as their Elvis dessert style pizza. They are not gimmicky either as they offer traditional pizza combinations as well if you're not as adventurous when it comes to pizza. I would describe their crust as thinner style. Anyway, they are located approx 45 south of Colunbus off of I-71 near a beautiful state park, lake, and beach as well where they hold the Ohio Renaissance Festival. The co-owner, Joe, immediately greeted us with a smile and spent some time chatting with us about the history of their business and all kinds of things about pizza. He couldn't have been more polite and gracious as well as takes pride in what they create and serve. Our pizza came out bubbly hot and tasted wonderful. The flavor combinations are outstanding. I think you can recognize what flavor of pizza you have blindfolded as the ingredients are spot on. The lasagna pizza tasted exactly like a lasagna minus the pasta, and the same could be said about the pierogi style. If you are a pizza lover and like trying different flavors, you can't go wrong. Check out their menu for yourself, and I know you'll soon plan a trip to try their pizza. You definitely won't regret...
