Willows Restaurant — Restaurant in Corydon Township

It was a bit of a hike from New Bethlehem, but we were told it was a great place to eat. Judging from the outside, it looks like a pool hall. The first room was the smoking area with pool tables, which was not very inviting. But when you entered into the restaurant part, it was beautiful ! Charming and rustic, great big room for special parties! Resin bear and outdoor critter statues just gave you a feeling of why it is called The Willow's. The waitress was kind of lackadaisical. She sat down to take our order. She was a new hire and wasn't sure about some things.. she didn't know where the sugar was, and we had to ask for silverware. It is kid friendly, and there is wheelchair parking and access. The food was good and prepared nicely. We were riding along out of the way roads and went past this resturant. We needed the restrooms and something cool to drink and turned around and went back. As we approched a door this charming little boy poked his head out the door and welcomed us in. We went in and immediately welcomed by the owner. They went out of their way to accommodate a party of ten. They set up the tables so we could all sit together. They took the orders and brought us our drinks. The food was out of this world. The prices were so good. During small talk we learned they had been in business for a little over a year. And while we were there there was a shower in they other half of the building seperate from the dining area. The bathrooms were immaculate, quaint and had a homey feel. We got here pretty close to closing time after kayaking in the state park. We were very grateful that they were still willing to serve us. The food came out extremely hot. Everything was nicely prepared and very delicious. My kid was very enthusiastic about the cheese sticks. They actually were really good cheese sticks I’m not gonna lie! I ordered a pizza burger which was kind of funky and unique but still tasted delicious all the same.
