Ludlow's Steakhouse — Restaurant in Corydon

This was my 1st time going here. It took 25-30 minutes for food to get to our table. The table was very wobbly but they did fix it. The food was ok but the prices might prevent me from going back. They do offer FREE REFRILLS on their soda drinks. Other beverages are reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and checked on us multiple times. The place got very busy and as soon as tables left, they were already seating new customers. I'd go back only to try a steak of some type to get a different taste of the food. I had catfish and mozzarella sticks which were ok. Last night 8-26-2022-we sat at the bar for the 1st time. The waitress was very nice and did a good job. The food was terrible other than the onion rings and cheese curds- They were great but the rest of our food was inedible. We ate there a couple of years ago and it was fantastic so we decided to go again for the broasted chicken. The web site menu showed it to be an option but they removed it when they changed locations. We ordered catfish which tasted like a lake bottom and chicken strips which were nasty. It is now in a basement and is more like a dive bar atmosphere. It is sketchy at best as you have to go down a side street and enter through a door that is hard to see from the street. They recently catered our sons wedding. They set up, tore down and put food away so we could enjoy our evening. Never knew they were there! Kept the food lines refilled. We served pork chops and roast beef. To say they were amazing is an understatement!!! So many compliments!!! So tender and well seasoned! Everyone was asking if there was leftovers to take home! As well as the yummy sides of potatoes, veggies and rolls. They made a special meal of salmon and steak for the bride and groom with no complaints. They also raved about their meal!!
