Kaytee's Family Restaurant and Marketplace — Restaurant in Coudersport

After an hour of watching a few other tables be seated and start receiving their orders ahead of us, our waitress came back to ask us what we ordered and quite literally began to re-take our order, "I can't find your order anywhere." I'm not really sure what that means. Is it in your pocket? My parents and I would've been most understanding if Kaytee's was crushed on this Tuesday dinner but only 5-10 tables (including ours) filtered through during our stay. This wasn't a wild dinner rush.

Our waitress most certainly could've done more to realize that we had yet to receive even a dinner roll while the other tables sat, ordered, ate appetizers, and were plated their entrees. We wanted to be respectful and not press our waitress but once we realized after an hour she never even questioned the kitchen - F that. Extremely disappointing. I'm sure this isn't indicative how they run their business but this shouldn't go...

Atmosphere- 5 stars-very modern clean open space. Separate area if needed for private gatherings. Bathroom was immaculate!

Service- 5 stars- Danielle was my waitress and she was very friendly and attentive. Great job!!

Food- 5 stars- Had breakfast here and it was very large portion and reasonable priced. Good variety of breakfast items to choose from including a breakfast buffet which had a very nice spread. I chose to order from the menu- I got the four egg western omelette which came with a choice of toast (sourdough, white, rye, wheat). I got the rye and I also ordered a side of hashbrowns. Food was perfect!! I would definitely stop here again and try their lunch or...

Food was very good, I got the club sandwich with fries. Our server was fast and very outgoing!

Only thing we didn’t like was the atmosphere, the room and big and doesn’t have much light, it just feels like it’s missing something. My mother compared it to a place for ballroom dancing but it’s gloomy with no music and nobody’s dancing….

Maybe add some twinkling lights throughout the restaurant and some good music, EVEN a band you have room for it!

I like the food we will definitely come back, all I can do is hope they bring some liveliness to the place...
