We asked to eat on their patio today as we had our dog with us. They were very accommodating and even put up an umbrella for us. The young woman who served us was visibly overworked as she was serving the entire restaurant and bar by herself. Even with that she was very sweet and brought our food to us in a timely manner. We had the pretzel sticks with cheese, I had a grilled chicken sandwich and my husband had the breakfast burger. Our food was hot and tasted very good. Our complaints and our disappointment lies with the fact that the business seems to be going through a name change or possibly a change of ownership. Not sure if the proper name is Vinney's or Mosch's Tavern. The bathroom walls had putty all over the place. The stalls had no toilet paper holders and the deck needs attention. Also, the restaurant is smoke free but for some reason the deck where people eat is being used as a smoking lounge. Upon arriving at the back parking lot we literally witnessed two women finish their cigarettes and throw them off the deck into the parking lot. That is not only disgusting but dangerous. Because of this the entire patio area smells like an ashtray. If we are in the area again we would not eat outside, inside maybe but definitely not on the patio. I think the owners have some things to consider moving forward and I hope they do. Overall we had a...

We sat down and got drinks quick enough, and then put in our food order. We then sat and waited while watching other tables who sat down after us get their food. At no point did our waitress come over to see if anyone wanted any more drinks. After waiting for about an hour, our waitress finally came back to tell us that another table had gotten the last of one of the meals we ordered. (A table that had sat down after us). So now we had to reorder and continue waiting.
We finally get our food, and it is obvious that 4 out of the 5 meals had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. The burgers that had all been ordered medium came out well done, and still no one was asked about if they wanted any more drinks.
So after spending an hour and a half sitting in Vinny's, we were finally able to leave. Considering I've worked in a restaurant myself, I usually side with restaurants when stuff like this happens, but the service at Vinny's was absolutely awful. At least it made it easier for us to decide where not to eat...
Read moreFor my first visit to this location I ordered the Ruben, and it was so good looking I had to start eating it before I even took the photo. The Rye was properly toasted and wasn't soggy at all! The french fries were perfectly cooked, crispy with that soft potato filling. I also had two Heineken beers. The service was attentive and friendly even considering how busy it was on the dinning side. The atmosphere was welcoming and clean. The bathrooms were a bit out of order and could have used some cleaning but much better than alot of places I have been to . The pool table was a little too close to one of the tables, but to be hones, I'm very picky about pool tables. The cloth was in decent shape, the bumpers had good action, and the table was open for free pool on this visit.
I would definitely recommend this place if you are...
