Wil's Grille & Pub — Restaurant in Coventry Township

This was our first time here. The service was wonderful. The wait staff was friendly. The food was delicious. My only complaint was the same complaint I have everywhere I go. No one, (except an actual steak house), knows how to cook a steak medium well. Again the food was great. The thin part of my 8oz NY Strip, was cooked to perfection, as soon as I got to a little thicker part, raw meat. I don't blame the restaurant. I don't hold it against them. But, I feel the need to start mentioning it in my reviews, otherwise, I may as well just stop ordering my favorite meal when I go out. Every menu warns about ordering undercooked or raw meat, yet I can't seem to get them to stop trying to make ME eat raw meat. But really other than that pet peeve of mine, it was great. I can't wait to go back and try the ribs. It's a tad small, which only adds to the homey atmosphere. It was two days after Halloween, and they had the cutest decorations. The owner stopped by our table to ask after us, which is always a nice touch. All in all, a vary enjoyable evening for my wife and I. We will definitely recommend this quaint little tavern to...

Wil's is a great place to eat! We have been driving by it many times, but never stopped in until a few months ago we decided to try it. If you love fresh and hot food, great service and a clean place to eat, this is your place to eat! So many different selections to choose from! Hard to decide what to get! Everything we have had there was great! Their fries are fresh cut fries, hot, and delicious, always! They sanitize the booths, tables, menus, and condiments after each customer. The owner, Wil, walks around and makes sure each customer is satisfied and taken care of. You won't regret eating there! I'm sorta picky about my food. But, don't have to worry about it there! We've had their sizzle burger, hamburgers, cod, perch, and walleye dinners. They serve generous portions! And it's fresh!!!!! You won't be sorry!! I have chosen Will's grille and pub 2 years in a row now as the place to go for my birthday dinner. Last year was a spur of the moment choice and a pleasant surprise, this year's visit was purposely planned after such a stellar experience the year before. Plenty of parking. It is small inside, barely enough room to walk between booths and tables and the bar. Bathrooms are tiny too. Not wheelchair friendly at all. With that said, if you dont object to tight spaces, this place is GREAT! Great food, (the fish is to die for), and the prices reflect the quality and amount of food you get. The seating is comfortable if you dont mind a cozy squeeze. It does get a little warm in the summer if it's a packed house, despite an a/c unit and ceiling fans. The service is fantastic, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, and they get your order out to you quickly, even if it is crowded. I highly recommend giving this place a try...
