Breakfast Cove — Restaurant in Covington

Today was our last time visiting Breakfast Cove. We will not be back. I wasn't too thrilled with our server to begin with. Her service, while not bad, wasn't very impressive. It just got the job done. But then I noticed a hair on my plate that couldn't have been mine. And then I found another one under my food, and one on top of my pancakes, and one INSIDE my son's pancake, and then several more very small hairs on my plate once I finished eating. I brought the hairs to our servers attention twice and she had my son's pancake re-made, and that is when we found the hair inside the pancake. Our server never apologized for all the hairs. In fact all she did was cross out the pancake from our order on our ticket while not changing the overall price of our meal. Did she think I wouldn't notice?? When I pointed out all the tiny little hairs to her, she took off my son's entire meal and added the pancakes back to my order. For all the hairs in our food they had NO room to be stingy in their discounts. The manager took off a couple more dollars and did apologize for the hairs, but I am so grossed out and feel like they didn't take all the hairs very seriously - he also had me pay for the remainder of our ticket! For the way we found the hairs, the hair has to be in their pancake batter and that is NASTY. We will not go back. Gross.

This place is horrible. I'm thinking people need to get out more if they think this is 5 star dining.

Everything about this place is cheap; from the packaged condiments to the mismatched decor, down to the one napkin they give you. It's clear whoever started this place is pinching every damn penny.

There were no greetings from staff upon arrival unless they knew you from elementary school or you were Billy Joe's son.

The only reason I gave this place two stars is because I was able to eat some of the food and satiate my hunger pains. I would not go back, nor would I recommend this...

Absolutely horrible food was not even cooked my husband’s fajita quesadilla was horrible I had to cook it more when he got home they did not give us the rice and the beans that went with it that I ordered or the salsa and sour cream for the breakfast burrito that comes with it and when I called he said you have to ask for that no it comes with it and then I go to tell him what else happened and I told him it was absolutely horrible and he hangs up on me Would not recommend covington breakfast...
